It's a toss up to me

I want to say Floyd is more likely to get PW to commit to a more offensive style that he will then pick apart. When PW had to sit down and scrap with you, he would. He also throws punches like he wants the KO, he just didn't have much pop, so what's the point (kinda like Floyd, but I feel like Floyd could do a lot more damage than tries to do). Floyd stays in his comfort zone as long as possible, and if he did make PW come forward, he could pick him apart.

It'll also be interesting to see PW make Floyd miss considering the speed and counter, if possible. I think his phenom defense would allow him to get inside and go to work on Floyd in a tighter, more compact way than most Floyd opponents (Whitaker's an Olympic Gold Medalist). And Floyd, desperate to not get hit, will get sloppy, while a prime Whitaker (off the drugs) is pretty balanced throughout a fight...

Yeah, I'm sticking with a toss up... The fight will either be the most boring in history, or one of the most entertaining

@relloman: nice write up. I think the common opponent in de la Hoya shows how they would match up. Sweet pea was outclassing Hoya defensively. Basically lost the fight for the lack of punches. Mayweather on the other hand gave up rounds to Hoya due to a very offensive and slick jab on hoyas part. I think defensively sweet pea is equal if not superior to mayweather. Offensively I think sweet pea was better but like you said he just didn't have the neccery sting in his punches. I think it's close to a toss up but I'd possibly have sweet pea favored 6 outa 10
