"I'm nobody"
"Nobody" is subjective. In this context it must refer to an identity."I'm nobody; I am"; its an identitification of "I". The general definition of "nobody" (nonexistent person) cannot be applied, as "I" has already pronounced existance. Thats where the paradox is. Rather than signifiying a state of nonexistance, it refers to something more like the insignificance of "I".
"The beginning of the end"
"the end" is, in this case, a quantifiable occurence, which much start, or have had started at some point, hence "the begining".
"Drowning in the fountain of eternal life"
Again, metaphorical.
Although, there is nothing to decide that the fountain would not have properties of actual liquid, and nothing negates the possibility that the fountain's contents much be consumed like liquid (rather than simply basked in). Its possible, if taken literally, that one could drown in its contents if one cannot consume it.
