What are the big/little changes you've observed (in your posts and whatnot) based off of your time with Comicvine?

Changes in your debate pattern?

Changes in the way you speak to people?

Changes in the types of avs you like to "wear" now?

Changes in favorite characters?

Like, what kind of "tweaks" have you noticed in your "comicvine personality"?

None, really.

I used to think Storm was cool.

I got less aggressive, visit the battle forums much less, have changed alignments back and forth more times than I can count, but have never gone blue, and I can no longer stomach the Storm forums. I keep it consistent with redhead avs.

1. Mostly learned to speak when I know what I'm talking about. And my spelling/grammar improved.
2. Not much change in my debate skills. Just usually stay out of debates that I don't know much about, and I admit straight-up when I'm wrong.
3. A lot more patient now, polite as well. I seemed to of gained the patience of a saint, but I'm still sarcastic.
4. Never really had a set kind of avatars I used, just changes based on what I feel like using.
5. Very big changes in the types of characters I like, and the companies I read the most from. I used to be a massive Hulk fan, and a marvel fanboy. Nowadays, aside from Punisher and a handful of books, I hate Marvel.

Hmm... Yeah, haven't changed much. Maybe less of a noob, but I think that goes without saying for anyone.

Newbie me - Completed quests by accident/unintentionally.

I used to try to keep the peace, now I just say what i think.

I totally used to be a nice person and respect other people's opinions, but after a good year or so here, I've realized that nice guys finish last on CV.

I have also learned to vehemently debate any battle thread that says 'Storm solos'. Because, honestly, the only thing that Storm solos is the sanity of the comic-community.

Changes in your debate pattern? I used to be completly lost in some threads, and what some people said was off to me. Now I understand why people say what they do usually

This is a really interesting thread, WhiteMage!

1. Changes in your debate pattern? I'd say my arguments are better structured and more well- rounded and that I have more information to bring forward during a debate.
2. Changes in the way you speak to people? I'd say I'm pretty much the same. I'm less interested in what people think of me.
3. Changes in the types of avs you like to "wear" now? Same as ever, has to be one of my favourite X-Characters.
4. Changes in favorite characters? Have an appreciation for more characters. Any characters I genuinely dislike I have more genuine reasons to dislike than before. I have some new favourite characters (Genesis, Fantomex, Noh-Varr (Morrison)). I now like certain characters a lot more than I did before (Beast, Professor X, Longshot, Thor, Iron Man), whilst my core favourites have generally remained the same (Hellion, Iceman, Madrox, Magneto). Also feel less interested in certain characters that used to rank amongst some of my favourites (Elixir, X-23). Willing to like more characters given the right story.
5. Changes in favourite series? I read more DC now than when I first started reading comics (Batman and Green Lantern). I also read The Walking Dead. Less action-focused, prefer characterisation and action mixed up together with interesting story arcs - prefer Uncanny X-Force to X-Force Vol.3, for example. Still love X-Factor.

• My debating became far more serious as did my grammer.
• I talk normally?
• I tend to adopt av's that represent my favourite characters or something I'm currently enjoying as opposed to something merely random
• Stayed the same with a few additions; Captain America, Kaine, Nightwing.

I)Yep when I first Got here I will be the first to admit I was a downright troll now I am a pretty good debater not great But I am getting there

3. Well, I have a few people I check up on every so often. and when I meet people now I greet them and ask what kind of comics they like (a discussion usually starts from there...)
4. Well, consindering I started with Hush Riddler and I still have Hush Riddler...no changes. though I did do a week or two of avs and let people vote on which one I should use. Nothing new.
5. I still like riddler, but I like other characters too like Nightwing, and others...

I now have a cool costume/personae I call The Poet. He can be playful and serious (he's older than i actually am apparently...)

Changes in your debate pattern?-I began reading more and more comics and gained interest in new characters expanding my knowledge. I went from 1 word, noobish answers and not being able to defend my points as much to being able to respond to paragraphs and utilizing scans properly earning myself a spot in the battle forums' debater hall of fame in a little over a year.

Changes in the way you speak to people?- Not much really except a little bit more random. I am still cynical, sarcastic, stubborn, blunt or I jump to funny and random and joking when I can.

Changes in the types of avs you like to "wear" now?-No difference.

Changes in favorite characters? None really though I added a few characters I became more tolerant of. I never really liked Batman, Namor and Hulk. I can tolerate them now, though I am becoming a definitely bigger fan of Bruce, I guess the biggest character change is going from Wolverine as a favorite to Cyclops.

2)I wasn't that open to other users, not that I am now really but still more than then.

Changes in your debate pattern? At first I debated a lot and wasn't very good. Then I got quite a lot better and continued debating. After that I slowly started debating less and less, then i left for a long time, and now i poke in on a few threads here and there.

Changes in the way you speak to people? I think I've always spoken pretty much the same. I may be less tolerant of stupid people.

Changes in the types of avs you like to "wear" now? I go through phases. Whatever I'm into at the time becomes my avatar. Overall it's the same stuff usually.

Changes in favorite characters? When I first came here I was all about Moon Knight and Daredevil. Then I went through a Green Lantern phase, and a bunch of other phases. my very favorite characters have always been pretty much the same though. (G.I. Joe, Avatar, Batman, Kraven)
