This ad space is taking almost half of the screen in the forums. Is there any way to remove it?

I get this as well. I actually don't like it that much. I occasionally click on it by accident. lol

It gets somewhat annoying, though.

Oh my gosh I just noticed that is why my Comic Vine has shrunk to half size.

But... Holmes, Firefox is from a non-profit organization, has a more friendly GUI to my person, and doesn't have an odd layout that's hard for me to learn!

I use Google Chrome. It runs much better than Explorer or Firefox.

Although Firefox can be customized to a delightful degree, it quite simply has so many add-ons that it boggles the mind! I find Chrome to be much more...elementary.

I'd like to see Esquire host a Sherlock Holmes vs Professor Layton thread. Various challenges of intelligence. No need for a physical confrontation because well all know Professor Layton would win by using Luke as a meat shield and throw hot tea in Holmes eyes.

#32 Posted by InnerVenom123 (29330 posts) - - Show Bio

@Esquire: Oh. And I've rigged Mrs. Hudson... dear, dear Mrs. Hudson... with thirty four sticks of TNT.

In a warehouse.

In Berlin.

#33 Posted by Esquire (3742 posts) - - Show Bio

@InnerVenom123: Regretfully, I have to inform you that I anticipated your course of action, and had Mrs. Hudson replaced with your mother about a week ago. You may want to consider defusing those explosives. And I may have to go rehire my housekeeper.

That could be entertaining. I'd enjoy representing Holmes if someone was willing to represent Layton, or something of that nature, too.

You say that as if I didn't anticipate your anticipation... and decided that I've always wanted to set my mother ablaze.

Beep.

Ka-boom.

Thankfully, my men have found the real Mrs Hudson.

She's on a train to Paris, where I await her.

With a sledgehammer and a chair.

@InnerVenom123: It pleases me to inform you that I've already been in contact with the Paris Municipal Police Prefecture, and the dear lady is safely in their custody. They did, however, let one of your men continue on the train, to occupy your chair.

@Esquire: ... That explains the manly screams.

And the muscular nature of the woman's frame.

Thankfully, this man was an undercover member of the yard.

I'll be sure to send a package containing his vital organs to the widow.
