Just curious, if you had to choose just ONE, which is Sylvester Stallone's best film? Based on acting, originality, and the rest ;)
Ok hands down, best Sylvester Stallone movie
@blackdog2009: Shouldn't this be in Off-Topic? I don't recall a superhero movie that Stallone stared in...
@battle_forum_junkie: I'm not sure, it says: general discussion and he DID star in a Judge Dredd movie .
@blackdog2009: General discussion is for specifically comic book/anime related threads. But I did forget about that Judge Dredd movie. Cary on then.
Honestly I'm not quite sure either. :P
It's a tough call... I have a soft spot for Nighthawks, anyone saw that one? First Blood is almost perfect. And Rocky... that's his crown achievement in many ways. Can't... Decide!
@crom_cruach: I remember Cop Land. Very underrated in my view.
Rocky is the best!!!!! No contender even close...and, no pun intended.
@knightrise Rocky IV over the original? I would have thought an argument for II being better, since he wins...but IV? I'm sorry, to each their own. Don't let me be a jerk...I'm just surprised. TBH, they are all great...except for V! I even really liked Balboa!
Demolition Man!!
Rocky 1-4-5 get mentions
Assassins
Aaaaaand Tango and Cash. Oh Expendibles 2, First Blood and the final Rambo make the cut.
Rocky two to the last. I enjoyed all of them to be honest.
Rambo's a good one too. So is Demolition Man.
@lagoon_boy: Being a part of the nerd culture I don't see how any of us could not choose Demo-Man lol
@guardiandevil83: never crossed my mind that DM is one of his best. It has it's charms but not his best at all . Just my opinion.
@chaos_prime: Paradise Alley? which one is that? Trying to remember ...

Gem of a film written, directed & starring Sly.Set in the 1940`s NY Hell`s Kitchen.
Sly is a small time hustler/Gambler & gets his little brother (bit simple but built like a brick wall) into sort of illegal wrestling against his older brothers wishes.
Some great scenes with some great back drops of 1940s NYC.
@chaos_prime: I'll look it up. Tks.
Rambo: First Blood, but even that is a laughable performance. I'm honestly not sure how Stallone lands any roles, he's not a good actor, has some of the worst annunciation I've ever heard so that even well written scripts just dribble out of his mouth, and he no longer has the physique necessary to justify his appearance in the terribly written action movies he's in.
