Serious, he was black. Big deal. Does that change your life dramaticly? If you are African America does this improve your chance at becoming the next president after him? I don't know about you, but there have been tons of white presidents, but I don't see my odds of being the next president changing. Its just another president, who cares what color he is and long as he doesn't screw up.

HA! I watched someone one the news last night that said they were voting for Obama to prove that color doesn't matter. They were voting for a black guy because he was black to prove that color doesn't matter. That has tons of values there. I'm not saying he doesn't have good values, but if you think his race had nothing to do with him winning you are mistaken.

I DONT EVEN WANT TO TALK TO YOU ANYMORE. Obama had to win VA and appeal to the middle white class voters aswell as in ohio, and in Pennsylavaia. Let this be known if every black person in the united states voted for Barack an all the whites vooted for Mccain, Mccain would have won by a landslide.

Thank you. My point exactly. If you want to celebrate Obama cause you believe in his goals, then I'm happy for you. But cheering for a guy cause of his race, I think you really need to think about that. You aren't bringing anybody together for celebrating his race(which he happens to be white too btw, that just shows what means more to you.

Hey look, I'm proud to live in a country that can accept dramatic change in so little time. I have nothing against Obama as a person. I believe he is a great person, he came from modest roots and now, he's on top of the world. I am against a lot of his policies and I voted for McCain and still believe he was much more qualified for the task at hand. What I don't like is the fact people are treating this guy as some kind of savior. He's not. Simple as that.
