Not sure, the outfit does look different from his try out for that film.

I wouldn't be surprised if the pics in the vid are photoshopped.

Fun fact, the producer for that would be film didn't want to use Superman's normal costume because in his words "It's too faggy".
Truly they put that movie in good hands, no idea why it got cancelled.

They need to have the guy who play'd Superman in Superman Returns play Supes in the Man Of Steel...

I like Nicolas Cage, but having him play Superman is a stupid idea.

I believed they also intended to make Lex a kryptonian and have superman fight a giant Spider at the end.

Only mildly better than the guy they already got.

Have you seen his (the actor actually scripted for man of steel) forehead? It's gigantic. He also looks like a rapist in the poster I keep seeing everywhere of Superman hovering in the clouds at sunset. A rapist with unrealistically perfectly bulging muscles that look like plastic.

Man of Steel is going to fail pretty hard... I can just see it.

Nicolas Cage would bring instant creditability and guaranteed box office numbers. Haters can claim he sucks as an actor but they can't name one person more talented than he is. He literally gets inside the mind of the character. Sadly he's too old now.

It was for the film that eventually, after numerous recasts and rewrites, became Superman Returns.

It was going to be directed by Tim Burton and written by Kevin Smith

Because I know the one I posted is real(sadly).
Didn't think they went through multiple costumes for the same actors for the old one. (Unless they were actually going to cast Cage for Man of Steel)
