Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, N.W.A, and KRS-One. This respect thread has been invalidated.
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: Those guys are overkill, you could have crushed this with Bubba Sparks
@joshmightbe: LOL. Best comment I've seen today.
Her lyrics and delivery are still mediocre. And its pretty hypocritical of any artists to say they want to inspire children and empower others, while simultaneously making music about over-indulgence, cultural stereotypes, female misogyny, and beezing in the trap; all for money and mainstream appeal. You can't just ignore the negatives and focus solely on latent character, if thats not how she portrays herself.

Im gonna have to go there............
I like Save Me, but well I can't say I have much respect for Nicki Minaj. I wish her the best in her career and all, but I don't think she is incredibly talented nor do I think she deserves her fame over other more talented artist. Ofcourse we all have diffrent views on talent, but thats just me.
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek I couldn't continue this without your comment :)
Plan on making a Biggie respect thread later.
Collaborations
She does look good in tight clothing but that doesn't really count as a talent

You just helped prove my point.
Nice sample, though. There: "respect". And I would f*rnicate flames off of her, which wouldn't be hard because solicone is so flammable.
@YourNeighborhoodComicGeek: Nas's birthday was yesterday actually on the 14th but yeah that's overkill. Here let's do a female version. Missy elliot, Lil Kim, Trina, Eve, Jean Grae(so I've heard), and Diamond.
@KnightRise: She didnt get plastic surgery.

".... where respect comes to die."
Love Nicki (as a person) can't stand Nicki as a rapper. Her albums are weed plates.
nicki minaj is an okay rapper , but missy elliot is way better than nicki.
Has a couple of decent songs but other than that not a fan.

It was 11:00 at night on a friday and my dad is sick and I like nicki minaj. This was destined to be.
I only respect her for her booty.

Booty's just a synonym for ass. Don't see why it would need to be pluralized.

You're missing the point. Her rump is large, so large that it figuratively counts as more than one.

i don;t see how you could like her music, as a person yes, she is a good person, but the MUSIC!??

She used to make good music.
@YoungJustice: The phrase used to make good music only works for people like the Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney who made good music for a couple decades before the started to suck. Having 2 good songs followed by a 5 year rush to obscurity is not much of a reason to respect a musician

She has many good songs.
Kill The DJ
Playtime Is Over
Itty bitty Piggy
The Come Up
etc.
@YoungJustice: Your definition of good song is radically different from mine

It must be.
@YoungJustice: Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, just because I would rather flush my ears out with battery acid than sit through one of her albums doesn't mean no one can like her.
Respect someone who made a song with brick squad? Must be crazy

She's nice to look at, not listen to.
