What do you want to see them do next? I think that the next logical step (IMO) would be music. A site with lyrics and info on all the artists and such and possibly even downloads. What do you guys want next?

The only Whiskey Media site I'm part of is Comicvine (don't tell the staff). So, it probably won't matter to me.

music, agreed. I was thinking the same thing awhile back.
you can't go wrong with that as far as bringing people in,
and trying to wrangle those same people into other WM
sites and subjects.

They only have a few more ways they can go:

sports
music
books
internet stuff (flash games, Web comics, other websites)
thats pretty much it

I don't really understand why Comic Vine doesn't have a small section for webcomics. They are comic strips still, even if they are not published in paper. And with the increasing popularity and expansion of digital comics, the lines that separate them are becoming very blurry.

They do have webcomic pages, but only webcomics that have been printed and sold. (Like Dr.McNinja or Sam and Fuzzy)

@Albert Ventum: actually, no, They had one called PoliticalBase.com...but that site shut down, after the 2008 elections...So yeah...I'd love to have a place to discuss important topics...I'd definatley want to become a staff member.

Also on the note of a music site...As much as i LOVE music, I think that it would not work.. I mean what could you do other than discuss music and or musicians...Also, getting interviews with top musicians would be very very very hard, not to mention you'd have to pay them, and not to mention all the money being spent on downloading cd's, buying tickets to concerts, etc...

It'd be nice if it worked but I've honestly never seen a site that made it work(without completely banning one group from posting).

@Albert Ventum: I can honestly say that on Political base, while it could get very heated, people usually stayed within boundaries of good will and intent with their words. I wish the site was still active though.
