I wonder how long til we get it in English...Aslo, that's a terrible new transformation for Frieza. I wonder if Toriyama forgot about Cooler's transformation. Also, there better be a good explanation as to why Frieza isn't still hopelessly outclassed by the entire cast of Z fighters.

Frieza's new form has already grown on me. I think he looks pretty cool.

On a side note, can't Cell get vastly more powerful through training too? I wouldn't mind if they brought him back, but I hope it isn't a rehash of this movie.

Just look at the part when he is receiving a beating by Frieza. Is very similar to the one that Vegeta received (getting owned on the floor, tossed into a mountain, begging etc.) and that shout at the end...

And it was confirmed by toriyama (and the new details for the movie confirms that freeza never trained before now )

@perethorn: but still, I dor one do not want to see goku doing the king kai training thing anymore. Vegeta can have this moment and save the day. That's fine with me but I hope Goku doesn't have to die for it to happen. Let Bulma and Trunks die for once. That should trigger a tremendous zenkai boost for Vegeta.

I think it might actually be Kid Trunks who does die. When I read a summary of the plot set up what Freezia says when he wakes up is "I will get my revenge on the two sayians who did this to me." most people would think he means Goku and Vegeta, but if you think about it Vegeta was killed by Freezie. The only two sayians who beat Freezia were Goku and Future Trunks, so maybe Freezia will go for Trunks when he sees him.

It could also be why they held off on Vegeta having a daughter because originally she was older then Pam. Maybe once Trunks dies Bulma and Vegeta have another kid.

Jaco the Galactic Patrol man? An entire army of Frieza Soldiers/fodder for the other Z fighters to fight? Frieza kicking arse? Not to mention that animation! This movie looks glorious!

This may sound macabre but I kind of hope he kills Trunks and a pregnant Bulma. That would be great for a zenkai boost for Vegeta and they could always wish them back with the dragon balls. I t seems as though Vegeta will surpass Goku in this film. IF Goku really takes a thrashing like he did in the trailer but remember Goku wasnt transformed when taking the beating, maybe Frieza beat him out of SS3 or, God forbid, Frieza beat him out of SSG (which would be hard for me to accept).

I'd have to disagree. Gohan has been lauded as doing nothing but getting weaker and lamer since the Cell Saga (well, since the mystic power up but still he's been pretty "weak" and useless for a while now). I really think this will be Vegeta's time to shine as the Prince of All Saiyans.

@sog7dc: The reason the new form looks like that is because Toriyama's lazy ass wants to keep things simple which is also why the SSG form looks the way it does. Frieza is supposed to be training for 4 months straight according to the translation of the manga but at the same time it also says that Whis has been training both Goku and Vegeta since the last film meaning Frieza's training had better been super intense in order to hadn with a now billion times stronger than him Goku

But Jaco is the only one that really fits. Plus, Jaco just got a huge mainstream push when Tori shoved the new Bardock origin (with Gine, Goku's mom) into a Jaco issue, so a cameo in DBZ makes a lot of sense.

@redbird3rdboywonder: I think making it just an aura was smart because who is to say you can't go SSJ, SSJ2, or SSJ3 while in god mode and become a SSJ3G. That's kinda always been my assumption for what they're idea was, but even if it's not the characters have become so iconic in all these years I liked the idea of seeing them fight as just their normal looking selves. If Frieza's new form didn't look really close to his original final form then the nostalgia of Frieza would be lost a lot. I can understand why people would be disappointed, but I don't want to see characters turn into mokeys or something crazy like SSJ4 was.

So I guess Goku fighting in God mode since he did not have blonde hair.
