Legs arms crotch etc
@thecheesestabber: What does all this have to do with the 5-panel?
Lol the Illuminati are kinda the Avengers that just stand around and talk now. Plus Hickman is trying to be Marvel's version of Grant Morrison but not fulfilling that criterion well at all.
I agree and like Morrison's JLA run(which i think is low on his pole of GREAT work), illuminati is making the "tough decision" and exploring the blacklash of them. its the best book Marvel has and is significantly better then JLA. i felt Morrison made the league less about a group of heroes but a council and if somehow they could get Banner/Thor and a girl on the Illuminati I don't see how they wouldn't be the de-facto Avengers.
I really love the illuminati books they're the best things in comics

Couldn't agree more...
Lol, well the panels are true. The book does lag a lot. But, same can be said with Hickman's Avengers book.
@humanrocket: Yeah, I miss when the Avengers was... well, awesome. Sure, there has been some good Avengers stories now and then, but... It hasn't been the same since Dissemble.

I say you should do Infinity as your next one. I'm interested in how you thought that story went, since it was tied to the main two Avengers books, and spawned the Mighty Avengers.
@kasino: I'm afraid I don't share your enthusiasm for The Illuminati. Not only is it a slow burn comic series but the pacing is all over the place, the characters are hardly defined outside of T'Challa and the plot is honestly a poor man's Grant Morrison story. You say Morrison made the JLA into a tribunal but he in fact turned them into a pantheon of Earth's Greatest Protectors, making up an almost Olympian line up of superheroes that faced the biggest threats and the biggest stakes yet still got the job done. The scope, epicness and creativity of Morrison's run is why it's regarded as highly as it is today. So I'm not exactly in agreement with you here though I see where you're coming from.
@humanrocket: I need to reread it first, but I remember it as an... okay event...
