If you like the band, enjoy.

If you don't, then what are you doing here?

@k4tzm4n: YESSSSSSSSS. thank you for posting this!

I like it a LOT. A little more dance-synth-poppy than usual, but it sounds like a very natural evolution for their music.

Jared's voice is on point, as usual. And the lyrics are great.

This is exactly what I was hoping for from them.

I've already got it stuck in my head.

@The Stegman: Same here. Their last record had a few fantastic tracks (Night of the Hunter is amazingly good), but overall I wasn't blown away by it.

@k4tzm4n: To me their best record is still A Beautiful Lie, the whole album is just awesome.

Haven't listened to them in quite a bit of time. Are they any good now?

Agreed. Fave song from that record? It's repetitive, but I think Savior gets my vote.

I like it, but that doesn't mean you will. Give it a listen and determine for yourself!

@k4tzm4n: Hmm, that's a tough one, probably a tie between "The Fantasy" and "From Yesterday" with "The Kill" being a very close third.

30 Seconds to Mars is usually hit or miss for me, but this latest single is quite good.

A few songs definitely feel like filler.

I ask the fans, which is your favorite 30 Seconds to Mars album?

Do tell, sir! For me, Do or Die and Bright Lights feel like they bring nothing to the album.

Player didn't work so I watched the video on Youtube

I thought I read they broke up a while ago.

Anyone else discover this band by hearing 'This is War' in the end credits of Dragon Age: Origins?

@k4tzm4n: This is War. Beautiful Lie is close second

@k4tzm4n:

Sorry for the delay, watching Game of Thrones :P

Anyway, filler songs I didn't like:

-End of All Days

-Pyres of Varansi

-Depuis Le Debut (really weird way to end an album)

Songs I liked, but not loved:

-Do or Die

-Bright Lights

-Northern Lights

-The Race

Songs I loved:

-Birth (don't know why, can't explain it, I just loved it)

-Conquistador

-Up in the Air

-City of Angels (best song of the track, really beautiful)

Overall, the album gets a C- in my book, my least favorite yet.

@the_stegman: I agree the CD has a very odd finale. I'd say I really enjoy the first seven tracks, and Northern Lights. Everything else is pretty "meh" to me. But hey, eight out of twelve isn't terrible :)

As of right now, I'm inclined to agree it's their weakest effort. I wasn't the biggest fan of This is War, but the songs I did love really blew me away.

I like their older stuff better but I'll give it a try

i thought this was a single though, and now we have 3? wow

also some bands dont do well with evolution

like Linkin Park. others do fantastically, like Fall Out Boy. I always loved their stuff and their new album is so different but still so good. they're awesome

How many times do you think they so "ooooh!" in this one?
