after mention of GBA I decided this needs a little more thought on my part. A horry hoggy host of bad games were produced for that system that looked like there was no effort put into them, especially ones tied to franchises. Speaking on that notion, put me down for an automatic razzle for anything franchise related THQ made.
@MisterX: no mate I cannot say I do, though the Wii has some games with fun looking gameplay, seen short playthroughs of Mario Galaxy and still have the disc sitting on shelf fresh in its packaging, I will start it once I get a converter. LCD's scale non native resolutions horribly. jaggies and lag are two of the most annoying technical issues next to crashes and xbox 360 failures.
No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle was a COLOSSAL disappointment. The first game was better on so many levels it isn't even funny.
what was wrong with it?? If anything they corrected the amount of time you tediously spend driving around and crashing into things. In all honesty, I think your one of the only people to think the second is actually bad, I mean some people prefer the first to the second
In terms of hype to disappointment, Final Fantasy XIII is up there.

Yeah, that game was pretty awful. They took everything that was good about the first game and changed it with the second one. And when you mention versions of Tetris, do you include Tetris Attack in there as well? Because personally, I consider the original Tetris crap compared to Tetris Attack.
Basically anything that's not made by Tetris. You know how they have "Disney Tetris" and stuff?
I actually had the dubious distinction of owning a copy of E.T. for the Atari 2600 (yes, I'm old). It was every bit as bad as every Google result for the game will tell you.

I'll take that as a compliment. No offense, but if you didn't like driving around Santa Destroy in the first game, stick with Grand Theft Auto. Because that's what I believe most people compare No More Heroes to when they complain about the sandbox world. Personally, I never found it boring to drive around the city during the course of the game. I didn't even know that was a problem until I started reading reviews of the game online. Anyway, I thought almost everything with Desperate Struggle was awful, from the new characters to the new style to the story (which was easily the worst factor of all). The only things I did like about the second game were the 8-bit side job minigames and the Bizarre Jelly 5 bonus animated short.
None taken, I'm actually not a very big video game player, so I'm not too overly analytical when it comes to game mechanics and such, If you thought NMH 2 was weaker than its original, thats cool. I just think its a stretch to call it one of the worst games ever....its a fun game
@rogue_mar1e: Abe's Oddworld series? those games were the BEST! I think they still are. I've gotten a hold of all of them Now i've showed em to my little Borther so he ses what games i grew up with. He loves em as much as i did.
Medievil was an all time favorite for me. But worst game? i think the Oblivion games. Not even going to Lie. that game pissed me off so bad.

@nickthedevil: Well even if you don't like them(and there's plenty of reasons not to like them) you still can't really call them the worst games ever. It still functions and there's enough good in Oblivion(the only one I've played) for it to earn it's popularity.
Then again I enjoyed Two Worlds 2, so I'm not exactly the best judge of a game's quality.
@Dommed_Cannon: LOL well i never take someone elses review for games. I've found that i have My own taste in video games that Probably no one else has.
For EX. I get Bored really quickly with Call of duty and Modern Warfare. lol
