Here is a list of my top 10 favorite wrestlers of all time. They may not be the actual greatest of all time, according to the WWE, although I do believe most of them, are considered WWE Legends.

1. "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

2. "Ravishing" Ric Rude.

3. "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

4. "Mr Perfect." Curt Hennig.

5. Andre "The Giant".

6. The Undertaker.

7. Triple H.

8. Big John Stud.

9. Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

10. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, "Hot Rod" Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Chris Jericho would make my Top 20. Beniot would have made my Top 10 before his tragic self destruction which takes him out of the running all together.

I've never followed pro wrestling (sometimes it seems like I'm the only one here who can say that), but I've always liked Andre the Giant.

Fist off, it's Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. Not Ricky "The Steamboat" Dragon.

No Kurt Angle?

No Sting?

No Shawn Michaels?

No Jeff Jarret?

No Bret Hart?

No Chris Benoit?

No Chris Jericho?

No Raven?

No Austin Aries?

No Samoa Joe?

No AJ Styles?

No Steve Austin?

No Arn Anderson?

No Roddy Piper?

No Bobby Roode?

No James Storm?

I don't really have more than a top 5, but they're it. Undertaker never fails to impress with his athleticism for such a big guy, The Rock (while not the greatest technical wrestler) was the most entertaining wrestler ever in my opinion and his move set fit his character perfectly. The same could be said for Stone Cold, except he was not as dynamic in my opinion. Shawn Michaels is one of the greatest ring generals ever, and could put on a good match with just about anyone. Sting could play the wild character, he could play his "Crow Sting" persona, and he was a very skilled technician.

If you're impressed by Undertaker's athleticism, you need to watch Matt Morgan.

I haven't watched wrestling since like...2004. I also loved his character persona.

@dark_hammer: Why put Hulk Hogan so far down? He was without a doubt the most popular wrestler of all time. His wrestling skills weren't amazing, but they were definitely on par with other wrestlers such as the ones I see in your top 5.

I have absolutely no idea why he was so popular. Based on his wrestling skills he didn't deserve it. In addition to that is the slew of bad business choices he made throughout his carrier. He should have retired from the business when his Hulkimania era concluded. Then maybe my view of him would be different.

A respectable list, if a bit new school for my tastes. But nothing horrible going on in the mix. No Brock frisking Lestnar at least.

@dark_hammer: I started watching wrestling in like 2003-2004 and stopped as soon as Sabu left (May 16, 2007) so those were the characters that stood out to me within that time period that I liked the most. That's why I'm not really into the old school characters like The Rock or Steve Austin. Sabu is my favorite, Mysterio 2nd favorite, and Undertaker 3rd. The others aren't really in any particular order.

@_braveheart_: I considered putting Bret Hart on my list. But he was such a whiny sore loser, and so difficult to work with according to other wrestlers. He was talented at the sport, but not at the contributing to the organization as a whole.

@dark_hammer: I see what you mean. I think his personality got him to have major conflicts both in the ring and backstage lol

You know that actually reminds of this episode of Raw

@_braveheart_: Exactly. He did that kind of crap all the time. The guy hated to lose matches, and would always bad talk the other wrestlers in interviews saying how he should have won, but the industry had other plans. Of course they do. That is part of being a great wrestler. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Sometimes you're on the top, sometimes you're fighting you're way up from the bottom. Sometimes you get sh*t on, and then you get back up and say. "Hey... I can take it. Because I am the best at what I do." He couldn't do that. And because he couldn't do that, he doesn't get a spot on my Greatest Wrestlers list. You have to pay you're dues in that business, being able to take all the abuse makes you look all the better.

Notice how: Batista, Brock Lestnar, and Bret Hart are not on my list... It is because they couldn't handle the abuse. Boo-Tista left because he couldn't take being booed. Brock did the same, and now he is back... And I don't care.

Kurt Angel used to pretend that he hated the whole "You suck... You suck... You suck..." Chants. But honestly he loved the fans, and they loved him too. In Wrestling we need Heels just as much as we need Faces. And the ones that can take it, are worth remembering. Add wrestling talent and personality into the mix and you have the recipe for a Legend.
