It's NOT all one timeline! Hence it would NOT make sense!

I think it uses the parallel universe theory that most movies use, ie: Batman (1989) is not connected to Batman Begins (2005), they take place in separate universes. Comics use this a-lot too. A-lot of people think that this is the same Bond in Goldfinger, it ISN'T. This is my theory:

Connery - All of Connery's films are connected (not sure on Never Say Never Again) but the Bond we see in Dr No is not the one in say for example, Goldeneye. Connery's Bond is last seen in Never Say Never Again.

George Lazenby - We see him in On Her Majesty's Secret Service but that's about it.

Roger Moore - This Bond also has no connection to the others, it's possible that this Bond experienced the events of On Her Majesty's Secret Service but in it's own timeline, this Bond is not the one in Dr No, he's last seen in A View to Kill.

Timothy Dalton - The Bond we see in Living Daylights and Licence to Kill, it's possible that it's the same Bond as Lazneby but I doubt it. This Bond's timeline is only these two films.

Pierce Brosnan - From Goldeneye-Die Another Day, has the same M as Craig's version

Daniel Craig - Casino Royale-Skyfall, this Bond's timeline is CR, QoS and Skyfall (Syfall was amazing, best Bond definitely)

Each Bond film with a new actor is in it's separate timeline.
