You do realize that murder is defined as the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another, right OP? The cat killed your rabbit, murder had nothing to do with it.

I thought the saying was "There's more than one way to skin a cat." I don't think I've ever heard "There's only one way to skin a cat.".

Murder involves humans. Not animals.

Also damaging the cat can get you into trouble with Johnny Law as animal cruelty laws are no joke. (I'm assuming you're American. If not check out your local laws.) I'd think twice before harming or killing somebodies pet even if that pet did kill your rabbit.
