In your opinion what is the most practical power, if your not going to fight crime. Saying this in our current world. What would you do with it?

#2 Posted by Thitiki (3903 posts) - - Show Bio

If I wasn't going to fight crime possibly super speed to get around and do daily tasks in seconds. Maybe rob a few banks.

Telekinesis so much can be done with it besides just moving objects, flight, simulated super strength, invulnerability, telekinetic force fields the list goes on and on.

Users can manipulate objects with their mind. Telekinesis is one of the basis of many superpowers that are based on "controlling/manipulating", it may evolve to the point that a Telekinetic can control anything at a subatomic level.

"Psychokinesis" is an umbrella term for any ability that involves using the mind to manipulate something, and some other, more specific, abilities may be acquired as a result. However, such users are usually specialized in only one of these areas, and rarely manifest their powers beyond their specialty. Generally, these psionic abilities include:

Basic level (Common)

  • Binding: to keep object/being from moving.
  • Enhanced Strength/Psionic Strength: to augment the user's physical strength, e.g.punching through a steel wall.
  • Levitation: to lift an object, e.g. raising a pitcher several inches into the air.
  • Telekinetic Choking: to strangle others.
  • Telekinetic Maneuver: to alter an object's directional course, e.g. changing what number a dice lands on or deflect an opponent attack.
  • Telekinetic Grip: to grasp an object firmly in place, e.g. keeping the tides from washing a friend away.
  • Telekinetic Pull/Push: to pull objects towards the user or to push objects away from the user, e.g. yanking a book off a shelf or sliding a cup across a table.

Advanced level

Master level (Rare)

Ultimate level (Rarest)

  • Ballistic Telekinesis: Where the user causes any nearby objects to be moved around the user at high speeds, explode or to be propelled away from the user at high speeds without conscious effort from the user of the power.
  • Elemental Telekinesis: Using certain elements that have the potential to manipulate objects' movements (such as electromagnetism, gravity, and air).
  • Lessen: Where the user can lessen an outside force dew to the physical body, (such as bullets, etc)
  • Tactile Telekinesis: Where the user has to be in physical contact with an object to be able to move it telekinetically. Other uses include focusing it inward increasing ones physical traits, while simulating Invulnerability via skin-layer Barrier.
  • Telekinetic Aura: To use aura to telekinetically move objects/subjects.
    • Vector Telekinesis: Where the user creates telekinetic energy appendages to move the object, giving it vector, making it easier to move and more effective than normal telekinesis.
  • Telekinetic Force: Specialized variation concentrate on simple but (extremely) strong TK Force itself.
  • Telekinetic Teleportation: As well as manipulating objects, the user can also teleport them, and themselves.

The correct answer. If you have TK you have access to almost every other power, it's just a degree of scale and control.

The power of luck.

For example, luckily discover the secret to immortality, someone luckily knocks themselves out when they try to fight you. You luckily win the biggest lottery to date without buying the ticket, you find it on the ground. Ect.....

Super speed especially Pre 52 Flash. The ability to read and retain memeory at a faster pace would help in studies and you would be able to get more done in the day.

1. Healing Factor/Healing abilities - Significantly reduce the risk of yours, or any one else's death. You could take this power to Africa, War Zones, Hospitals, or anywhere where a person is dying before their time and heal them.

2. Pre-Cog - Just imagine if you knew who would win this NCAA tournament. That's $1,000,000,000 right there.

3. TK - The most broad power. Even if you don't use it for crime fighting, there would probably be very little you can't do. But, it does run the risk of making you super lazy.

4. TP - Who doesn't want to read a few minds every once in a while? Or control a few people? This ability is awesome, but it also easily corrupts. And, you might get your feelings hurt a bit haha

5. Super powered luck - The most passive power, but still, most everything would work out in your favor and that's just awesome.

6. Captain America level physiology (peak human) - This is probably as strong, and fast as you could be without feeling like you're living in a world of glass. At this level, no one could touch you physically in anything.

Being Omnipotent

Being an immortal

My personal choice would be TK though, you can do everything except reality warp, speed with it just about.

Or a GL Ring.

@deathstrokergeist: Duh, I was wondering when someone would say that or reality warping. As a God fearing man I would just take reality warping, if this is a real world type of thing we are talking about.

#44 Posted by The_Deathstroker (7963 posts) - - Show Bio

@lukehero: Why would you fear a god if you were him? Exactly.
