You'd have to see it to really revel in why, but in short his capacity as a sorcerer was ludicrous and silly, bordering reality manipulation/cartoon science, and was to the level of challenging the Supreme Being (God), who in turn was the only one capable of stopping Evil.
Example:
On the battle scene, the archers shoot their arrows into Evil. As the arrows hit Evil turns himself into a pin cushion version of himself, instantly and then inflates like a balloon and sends the arrows back to the archers, bullseye hitting all of them with on arrow each directly through the hearts with perfect 1 hit instant killshots. To make it more wacky when the arrows release from Evil's inflating pin cushion form the are turned with the heads facing the archers, where they were previously turned facing evil, and he does this without actually physically turning the arrows, they just are turned by will of magic. And this is one of the least of feats.
