so... why do pro life people piss you off?

Also why do republicans piss you off? That seems to be quite a broad generalization of all republicans as the same types of people.

#3 Posted by ChaosBlazer (3930 posts) - - Show Bio

also... welcome to the Vine

#4 Posted by TheHumanJuggernaut (23 posts) - - Show Bio

@ChaosBlazer: thanks buddy but i have been here a while im more of a lurker.

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of threads for this sort of thing.

The only people I don't like are those who refuse to follow simple rules.

#6 Posted by TheHumanJuggernaut (23 posts) - - Show Bio

@Decoy Elite:

ya like people who just can not no matter what remember to rack their weights or take phone calls outside.

@TheHumanJuggernaut: ah gotcha.

In case you missed my question:

@ChaosBlazer: the thing about pro life is its mostly old white men telling women what they should HAVE to do with their bodies, you can not take away somebody's right to control their body like that.

republicans well most of their politicians are rich people who wouldn't spit in the same direction as somebody like you or me and yet people vote for them even when they say they do not care (mitt romney) and some of them are openly racist.

I guess I could say I'm pro life, in some ways. I believe that abortion shouldn't be used as a backdoor or an easy way out for mistakes. People who make mistakes and get pregnant shouldn't be able to just kill their kid out of their own convenience. It just seems wrong to me, and at some point people should receive consequence for their actions, right? Though I know I won't ever really understand this, since I'm not a woman. Now if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant I could fully understand her wanting to get rid of the child. It wasn't her choice, or her accident and she shouldn't be held accountable for something like that.

There are obviously other exceptions to the whole 'pro life' position. And I agree that men can't really understand this whole thing until we've walked a mile in pregnant women's shoes.

I guess you could say alot of politicians aren't commoners and they can't serve our interests but I wouldn't generalize all Republicans as bad. This country has had plenty of great leaders, Republican and Democrat (though few in the last few decades). Personally I like the major Republican stances on economic issues today, I just don't think that our leaders are really implementing them. They're all just doing their own thing in Washington...

@Captain_Yesterday:

what do you want me to do: look through the phone book and tell you which republicans i don't like.

#12 Posted by Captain_Yesterday (807 posts) - - Show Bio

@TheHumanJuggernaut: Yes

#13 Posted by TheHumanJuggernaut (23 posts) - - Show Bio

@ChaosBlazer:

how would you feel having to bring somebody into the world that you knew would have a bad life all because the government says you have to.

most of the whole pro life thing is based of religion and in the USA you can not force your religion on somebody, we have separation of church and state.

that's true, and what it comes down to for me is just my ethics, I just don't think its the right choice to make to kill somebody. If you make a huge mistake I don't think that's the best option, you can put a kid up for adoption. People think that if they bring a child into this world they will have a bad life, but I know plenty of kids at my school who are adopted and are really happy and have good lives.

I do believe in separation of church and state. However i don't believe that our government should operate without a strong moral and ethical standard, something i think is starting to be neglected in the past few years.

what are you even talking about if a democrat is president then he says you have a good life, but if its a republican then they have the power to make your life suck? democrat or republican there all screwed up and dont do what they say there gonna do. im not super republican or democrat but i agree wit some of each points. like for democrats yu need loan money to go to college theres no getting around that or goverment money for young couples or familys just starting off. But on the republican side the government cant just waste money willy nilly they definetly need to get themselves and the economy in check. theres no such thing as waiting for the economy to get better or it will set it self straight, think about FDR he had so many plans like New Deal and The First One Hundred day to get out of the great depression. today its like no ones doing jack crap.

I honestly cant force religion on people but This country was founded on Church and the Bible. And pro life is not directly affiliated with religion. its affiliated with people who dont want baby killing willy nilly.

On topic:

stuff that annoys me:

people who think hulk strongest there is

and people who try to one up everyone

The need for rules.
People should, ostensibly, be able to govern themselves responsibly.  Unfortunately, most seem willing to abdicate that basic responsibility.

Republicans...and democrats for that matter.

Pro-Life people that are anti welfare.

People that use abortions like birth control. As far as I'm concerned they should put a 3 strike system in place. No reason anyone would need more than that in their lifetime.

Religious people, specifically those that take the bible literally and those that get judgy on everyone else. Religion is for the individual, keep it to yourself.

Atheists. Specifically those that feel the need to belittle peoples faith.

...and Goku fans.

I was gonna make a list but this pretty much sums it up. Save of course a few nitpicky ones I have.

Most annoying things for me...

Having to depend on the bus because I know I won't be getting my driver's license primarily due to my fear of driving, having to draw a tropical rain forest based off of what the image search brings up, the fact that I'm probably gonna have to color these three pieces I'm doing for them to stand a chance in this contest, the lunch I bring with me always messing with my stomach and forcing me to...well, "blow it up" later on, Youtube crapping out on its own free will, smudges when drawing, that weird awkwardness that is generated every time I say Jesus as an answer to something regardless of what the question is, people who get all over video games and make them into something I can't enjoy, my camera crapping out on its own free will, the way debates get so sour between people online, the fact that 51-50's seem to flock towards the bus like it is some kinda mobile Mecca, people who smoke/drink way too much of anything 'cause that smell doesn't get any less potent in a big metal tube, the way I seem to always be forgetting that one little thing for my English class, the way some people try to tie in Socialism/Marxism into every piece of literature regardless of how non-Socialist/Marxist it is, having no money to buy food when every restaurant in town seems to have their windows open, the word correct on my computer, and having to get up as early as I do for school just to make sure the showers I take don't disturb anyone.

...

I think that's it for now.
