Most abusive relationship you've seen in real life?

I once saw a couple both verbally and physically abuse each other at the park.

A friend I once knew. I still feel bad for her to this day.....I hope she is alright.

Threat title is a little triggering. That said, I think everyone I know is at least aware of one abusive relationship. Determining which relatioship is the most abusive isn't something I'd want to do willingly, but awareness can be a good thing, I guess.
