I just remembered about this thread. Ive become fond of music without beat. Does anyone feel the same?

@Decoy Elite: Yes w/o percussion. I like some beat too, but only when Im in the mood to move my body. acapella and songs without beats make me relex better and I find it great for studying. In my opinion of course.

I guess growing up on video game music and rap kinda has me too used to great beats to enjoy songs without them.

I don't mind modern music that much but I don't like how pop has dominated the airwaves. It seems like hard Rock his been faded out of the mainstream. It's almost as if there's been a war between generic or manufactured music and actual artistry and instrumental art has lost big time.

No, I don't hate modern music. I just don't get memorized by it.
