I don't like Basketball. I like Billie Jean, So Michael Jackson automatically wins.

EDIT: the irony of this statement and my avatar are obvious to me.

Well Jordan never had to pay someone a few million dollars to drop pedo charges so....

I liked Space Jam growing up. I hate 100% of Jackson's music. So Jordan.

Jackson, I like all of his music and not -that- into basketball. Also alot of people who have actually met Jordan reports that he is a major a-hole in real life.

Micheal Jackson gave us so much to work with in Parody shows

But Micheal Jordan has 6 champion rings

and that's the only argument I need.

Bill Russell laugh of Jordan 6 rings, with his 11 rings, besides the fact Jordan play 15 years and he only played 13.

Michael Jordan. He has the toon force.

Well actually to be fair some could use the same logic as your and say Jackson use the Pedobear Force and everyone knows PDF>TF

Russel played in a watered down league that was surrounded by white dudes who were barely 6 feet 8 inches........Put Russel in this era and he wouldn't have half the amount. This is coming from someone who has alot of respect for the man.

MJ>Russel.

Outside of Kareem Abdul Jabbar... who else has won 6 NBA Titles that's even close to being considered Top 10 all time ?

Michael, or MJ if you prefer.

Jordan helped globalize Basketball... dude was well known all over the world in the 1990's... Really only Larry Bird and Magic Johnson has had such a significant impact on Basketball.

#45 Posted by russellmania77 (14607 posts) - - Show Bio

@king_saturn: no doctor J or that guy who made 100 points in one game?

That minimize the rest of great players from the 90s and the job of the NBA marketing guys did.

Wilt was a Phenomenal Athlete... but he didn't help Globalize Basketball... nor was Wilt known as a Champion after he left the game of Basketball... Wilt only won 2 NBA titles... dude was more concerned about scoring points than even the team winning.

Doctor J was the really the inspiration of Michael Jordan as MJ said he emulated his game after Dr. J early on in his career... but when you talk about Greatness... Doc was never as good as Michael Jordan in the clutch. Even when Doc was in the ABA.

Nobody was close to Jordan's Greatness in the 1990's though... I mean MJ literally led the Bulls in shutting down anyone other than the Rockets from winning any Championships... and the reason the Rockets won was because Jordan went to go play Baseball... LOL

Jordan never won a tittle without Pippen, even when he had Pippen and Rodman(Who beat him before playing for the Bulls).

What happened when he losed them, he became a joke.

The reason why Wilt never won so many tittle was Bill Russel, not only that he has a better numbers in passing, the myth is that Jordan was a better team player, Jordan several times decide to go for his glory, he didnt care for the team more that Chamberlain, he actually cared less for his team.

Chamberlain stop scoring as high because he was asked to work more as a team player.

MJ is the best in marketing, is like why most of people say Bruce Lee was the best martial artist of all times.

Jordan was in the top 10, but there was better players that him

@deathpoolthet1000: Who ever said I was basing it on rings alone? O_o

Also no great player besides Kareem that actually played in a league that didn't have the unspoken "only 3 black guys per team rule" has won 6 championships and that's a fact.

Also lol @ there being better players then him. You just proved to me your basketball knowledge is limited.
