Over the years there has been a lot of men dressing as women for comedic purposes. This trend is one that's not going away any time soon. I personally feel men are to comfortable with sacrificing their masculinity for a couple of chuckles. If your not funny without the dress, wigs and makeup, then your damn sure not going to be funny with. The video below gives you the gist of what I am talking about. Even though Dave Chappelle is only referring to black men, I think this applies for all men. The movie "Jack and Jill" with Adam Sandler is an example what I am talking about. What are your thoughts on this topic?
Men Who Cross Dress for Comedy
@superguy1591: Didn't know it dated back that far but still why cross dress? Can't a guy be funny without tucking it and twerking for the masses?
@glemerald924: I don't know, I'm not a fan of cross dressing comedies.
@superguy1591: me neither. The ONLY cross dressing comedian I found remotely funny was Eddie Murphy in Norbit but then again I wouldn't give Murphy that much credit. I find fat girls to be hilarious especially if someone is walking behind them playing a tuba.
Not new...
Cross dressing for comedy is as old as time.
Good film, stands the test of time pretty well.
I did it for a highschool event, i looked fine as f***. And walking in high heels is way easier than what its made out to be.
When I was about 5 I tried on my mom's high heels and asked her why she said it hurt. She was too busy laughing at the sight of me in them to respond.

Its a conspiracy, they know we look fabulous and dont need makeup so they are jell AF
Adam Sandler hasn't been funny awhile.

It's viewed more as it's own comedy niche, like slapstick, improv, or prop comedy, or miming. The costume is used as a device to mock principles of gender identity and sexuality. Now that there are an abundance of actresses for female roles it's no longer a necessity for the theater but fans of the niche keep it alive

Time to wear them to the SJW rallies.
