Gay.

I don't really like the color pink, but I'd wear it. I don't care what people would say about me, I'd still be stylin on them, looking like a fly pretty boy lol.

One of my friends back in elementary school actually came to school with all pink on no lie. Pink hat, shorts, shoes, polo.

It's just a color, if you're afraid to where it because you don't want people question your manly heterosexuality you're probably more likely to be gay than a guy who has no problem wearing it.

Just came to say.......... GAY

#6 Posted by Aiden Cross (15557 posts) - - Show Bio

I wear it, men wear it here all the time and no one will look at you differently.

#7 Posted by Sissel (1985 posts) - - Show Bio

Pink and Gay correlate? Really. I think not. I'll rock them and be stylin' with my girl. Especially if it is a request by a friends. And @Ebbm said:

Is right. There's nothing to be afraid from a color. But, stereotyping is such a common thing. (Curse you Barbie!) That you yourself forget that you do it at times.

For wearing a color? That's a bit small minded.
#10 Posted by ComicMan24 (147032 posts) - - Show Bio

I don't like it as a colour so I would never wear it (plus I would look ridiculous in it lol) but if someone else wants to wear it, I don't mind.

It's a color, get over it.

Some people see gay everywhere sometimes its cause they feel the have to point out the gayness they see as a means of hiding something about themselves

Brett Hart has no problem with pink

Obligatory, but totally not gay... at all...
It used to be the other way around.  Pink was the color of boys, because it was a softer version of red (the color of men).  Blue was reserved for women and girls.  Somewhere along the line, it got switched somehow.  These arbitrary cultural norms amuse me to no end when people act like they are srs bznz!
#24 Posted by joshmightbe (24463 posts) - - Show Bio
@dorsk188: it's one of those things where people forget about ancient things like in 300 were the Spartans make fun of Athenians for being boy lovers despite the fact that in Sparta pederasty was so common the Spartan women had to shave their heads on their wedding nights as a way to help ease their husbands into hetero sex

As a girl, I really, really. . . dont' care. If he likes pink, then let him wear pink. It's when he's wearing a Cher t-shirt that I start worrying.

Real dudes get down with pink. Just sayin'.
#29 Posted by CurbsideProphet (1906 posts) - - Show Bio

Like all colors, it all depends on the awesomeness of your whole outfit. So the pink doesn't really matter, unless your whole outfit is terrible.

#30 Posted by CurbsideProphet (1906 posts) - - Show Bio

However, I do wear almost exclusively black. I think it's hereditary. Mostly dark colors for me. But pink is awesome, especially when Kenton Hicks wears that pink shirt because that just looks cool. The coolest pink I ever seen.

As for what I told Aden that could mean a hole different thing he said no one would look at you differently. Maybe I just meant that I would look at him differently cause I don't see it often. I also could mean that...

I look at him like this

Pink? What about it? It's just a color? I don't get what's so big of a deal about it.
#37 Posted by sentryssj4 (433 posts) - - Show Bio

Ill be honest I dont like it...

#38 Posted by Shadowdoggy (3815 posts) - - Show Bio
@Mr. Mercury
@Ebbm

word.

if you think wearing a color makes someone gay, you're probably also of a mindset that listening to too much broadway music or not playing baseball will make you gay

conversely- I am actually gay and I would never wear pink because I think it is ugly and I hate anything "cute," "sweet," or "darling"

straight guys often look good in pink though- and the ladies don't seem to mind it either ;)

Yea totally, I hear its the very definition of gay, if you look it up in the dictationery it say's "the wearer of pink garments" yea coz colour totally affects your sexual orientation 'rolls eyes'

@lagoon_boy

didn't you know? it's the 50's again and everyone is trying their hardest to look like a uber-tough alpha male.....while they sit at home and masturbate to porn alone thinking about Chris Helmsworth...I mean Kim Kardashian

the big deal is that everyone is scared of being perceived not even as gay, but as someone who even supports the idea of being a gay man that they take every opportunity to make fun of anything they think is gay, feminine or not typically macho....and THAT'S why I get into so many fights ;)

#49 Posted by GrandSymbiote94 (11476 posts) - - Show Bio

But in all seriousness though it really shouldn't matter.

of course it does!

and so does who you vote for, your religious background, your favorite musician and whether or not your parents stayed together or got divorced.

my favorite thing ever was when this dumb, pregnant, redneck teenager I went to college with asked me "I dont' wanna sound rude or nothin', but was there anything specifically your parents did that turned you gay? Just so I can avoid that if I can."

I told her "Yeah, my mom wore pants when she was pregnant with me."
