Even after all this time, powerhouses are generally modeled in some way regarding Superman, whether it's something similar or something different, street levelers are usually modeled after Batman, even if he does surpass that level sometimes, and women are usually like Wonder Woman in some way. Granted, there's more than a few exceptions to those rules, but Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman shaped superheroes in a way just about no other superheroes did. I'd list examples, but that requires thinking ;)

@redatom1234: I mean people think of comics they generally think of Marvel because they've produced almost all of the cbm. DC has some of the most iconic characters like Batman, Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and most of Batman's rogues but most of their characters are unknowns. Id say most people could list off most of Marvel's heroes whereas with DC its more limited if they even know what DC Comics is. Personally I prefer DC, but Marvel is the bigger and more famous company at the moment.

None of these are funny...3/10 for effort

@rocketraccoonthingy: The meme said more famous and so far Marvel is more famous no matter how popular DC You is. At the moment people know more about Marvel's characters than DC's and the name Marvel is big enough to sell about anything. Also I dont think DC You is doing that great of numbers.

My friend favours marvel a bit more but I think she knows DC characters more
