Are there any comic book characters or anime characters that have never removed their mask. Good or bad, doesn't matter. I just think the concept of a permanent mask is interesting.
Well Master Chief has taken off his helmet, but nobody has seen his current face. His face as a child was revealed though, in the Fall of Reach comic book series.

If we're talking meta-masks, or rather, masks people put over their own personalities, to hide who they really are, and strike when it's advantageous to them? Batman is that way to everyone except Alfred, and he tries to be that way with Alfred too. Problem is, Alfred knows him somewhat well. Bruce is much too complicated to be understood even by himself though. Part of his mystique, morality, and discipline is that he must not acknowledge who he is, but rather build himself into the ideal crime-fighting machine to help others and be an example, which is what he's done. Chances are, we'll never see the honest to goodness Bruce Wayne as he used to be, because he's been rebuilt and buried.
O.O Who would have thought Commander Cobra looks just like Freddy Mercury and Destro like Sean Connery :P
Lol,I know that's the last way I would imagine either of them looking,which is why I suppose they look that way.
@Gambler: The point of the OP was to find characters that have never removed their masks and Destro has.Even if that involves a disguise he has still removed his mask.And I think that's what he actually looks like in the Marvel Comics,the only disguise is the hat and glasses.

We have seen various versions without his mouth plate,usually if its just a battle mask like the Cybertron,Movie and Prime versions we see him without it.In the G1 Cartoon we saw him before he became Optimus Prime,originally named Orion Pax.

The G1 Cartoon version does,the majority of other versions of Megatron are no slouch.He had what I call 80s villains syndrome,Skeletor had it,Cobra Commander had it, nearly every 80s villain had it.
