Marvel casts Chris Pratt as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy

I think there was already a thread for this and not many people cared.

Honestly I could see it.

Cool I guess. I don't watch his show but that's probably a good thing. Superhero casting seems to be easier to swallow when I don't have any prior exposure to the actor.

He's a fine actor, I loved his work in Everwood.

I don't think he's right for the part unless they are turning it into a comedy. I hope they don'y turn it into a comedy.

I was thinking the same thing. Sadly it looks like they are going the comedy route since there were the Jim Carrey rumors and now this. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

That is fantastic! He's one of the few characters I could see a wrestler being able to play well.
