Thats hella true...But the world we live in today is too superficial, the chances of finding someone that humble is quite low. Also people are afraid to commit to that extent, little by little people are realising that their significant other has a thought in their mind sounding something like "what if something better comes along?" so they just stick with this person in the meantime, its cruel but it happens all the time.I like the idea of marriage, not a wedding, a marriage.
I think if you only want to be with that person and no one else then whats a piece of jewellery and a party?
People who seem scared of marriage seems to me that theyre scared their life may end and theyre looking at the wrong end of the stick
As well in my experience people who dont 'believe' in marriage have missed their chance cause they messed it up for themselves. Not saying that's so about everyone but the people I've met so far who dont 'believe' in it are like that.
Marriage or Not??

I believe in Marriage because I believe in God and God says if a man sleeps with a Woman he shall marry her...
Ahh, yes, traditional values according to the Bible...
"If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered,he shall pay her father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives."
Isnt that nice? I know I get a warm feeling every time I read the good book.
So, I guess he doesn't have to marry or pay as long as they're not caught. I find these Old Testament laws hilarious, even though I probably shouldn't, because I'm a Christian.
...
It's still hilarious. XD

Anti-marriage here.
But how you have Issac and Miria as your avatar? lol
I don't see how my views about marriage have anything to do with those two.
Their love infinite!
If you have a true connection with someone, some variation of marriage will naturally follow...whether it just be living together, getting eloped in Vegas or having some big formal wedding and life commitment. They are all essentially the same thing, but none of them mean the same thing to everyone. Plenty of people get traditional marriages but don't actually care about the commitment that years ago would have essentially resulted in their deaths if they chose to break it. At the same time, other people can be fully committed to each other just as much as anyone ever has been and not get a traditional marriage. When you meet someone that you would potentially get married to, the two of you will know whether marriage is the right decision or not, and if you don't, then it isn't.
