Magic The Gathering!

What color/colors do you play with? Why? I'm new to this game, only have one other friend that plays with me. But I'm hooked. It's amazing. Just looking for others to talk to about it with. Lol

My deck is a mix of Red and White(But I do really love Green).

Also, any helpful hints when buying/making a deck?

I don't play or collect anymore per say but I saved a few of my favorite decks and I pull them out and remember the good times occasionally

A Mono Black (discard) deck

A Mono Blue (mill) deck

A Green/Blue (make huge creatures fly) deck

Wow! This game's still alive? I started playing back in 95... I was in the 4th grade back then. I haven't played this game since the Urza Trilogy back in 99...

Anyway, to answer the question. I used to have 2 decks. One was a Blue-White deck concentrating on doing things fast while keeping the opponent at bay with counters. And of course, I love to Armaggedon and Wrath of God the sh*t out of my opponents if things go dire. Doesn't work well with more than 1 opponent though. The other was a Red-Black deck concentrating on hastes and destroying enemy creatures and land. Kinda weak (but not entirely fightless) against a creature/mana-based green deck. That's it.

I don't know much about the game. All I was taught was to scream "MANA!" when things get really tense.

I hadn't played for years until I recently switched to MTG Online, now I play everyday. I currently play a Splinterfright deck (green/blue), a GW Human deck, and a mono white control.

I gotta say the Planeswalker cards take some getting used to. Threw me for quite a loop when I first played against one.

I finally understand what you mean. I have a Plainswalker(Ajani) and he's amazing. I love it. I'm actually getting really good. I'm going to try to enter in a tournament at my comic shop soon!

When I used to play, I had a Light/Dark deck. Man-eater Bug ruined it.

I've always wanted to try magic but it looked confusing so I just stuck with yugioh.
