Finally!
Made It to College!
Congratulations man :)
@deadpoolrules: @xanni15: @mrdecepticonleader: Thanks!
@caiotrubat:I'm prepared to do three hours of studying for every one hour of class, and sleep in on the weekends(because the weekdays I'll be doing a majority of classes, homework, and studying and thus won't be getting much sleep).
Are there any tips you have for me for succeeding in college?

Well a tip I could give is get plenty of sleep,not just at the weekends,if you do that will help you function much better.Sleep is important,don't skip it,set out a timetable to do extra work in and try to stick to it.And focus on a subject for no longer than an hour or so.
@mrdecepticonleader: So give all courses equal amount of attention?
@mrdecepticonleader: So give all courses equal amount of attention?
Yeah.Though if you are studying for an exam in a certain subject maybe that give that a bit more focus or if there is a subject you maybe not as good with spend more time improving on that.But still try to keep it decently balanced.

Even when studying for an exam, it's important to take breaks. If you study for hours at once, you will lose information. Studying in intervals helps to memorize information. Also, studying before sleeping can help seal information into your memory (with a refresher after awakening).

Yeah that too.Sleep is important.Drink water and stay hydrated too.
If you're dorming, don't drop the soap... unless you're like super easy and wouldn't mind, then by all means, drop away.
@teerack You don't really know his story. He could be living in conditions in which getting into a college is an accomplishment.
Making it to college isn't really an accomplishment.
@jedixman: @mrdecepticonleader: Thanks for the info.

Don't worry about it, there are ignorant people even on the internet.

Gee, way to be asshole. Guy's excited because he's doing something with his life and you're trying to make him feel like he's not accomplishing anything.
Good job to the OP. Work hard and you'll do good in life.

Never leave you're drink unattended.
Study smart and hard.
Make time for yourself to relax.
Pick a major that will be useful in getting a job.
Take some classes that will just be fun.
Don't stress over stuff too much.

Making excuses for being an asshole makes you an asshole, asshole.

I'm an asshole. Doesn't mean it's not ture.
@teerack: Seriously mate? If you have something positive to add, then feel free to chip in. There's no reason to post discouraging comments.
@teerack: If you can take the time to insult someone you should take the time to spell correctly.
@consolemaster001: @innervenom123: @jairamganpat: @ghostofonyx: Don't worry, I plan to look at everything as a chance to grow and learn! And learning(whether in classroom circles or social circles) is fun for me!
@deranged_midget: Can we flag comments anymore?

I didn't insult anyone. "High school isn't an accomplishment anymore." isn't an insult. If you hover over the top right of my post you can flag it if you want, but sense I was called an asshole 3 times and a mod can still see that you originally told me to go fuck my self. I kind of doubt I'd be the one getting in trouble.
@consolemaster001: I'm curious about how backwards you think lol.
@evilvegeta74: @dark_night19: Thanks.

It's interesting to note that he promptly deleted his comment right after making it, and I don't believe he was asked to. Plus, you were already spoken to by a mod, I believe.
Also, he censored the word in question when he did post it; you did not.
Why are you so incredibly hostile and insulting? I'm seriously asking, here. I'm known for being blunt, but I don't go out of my way as to insult people - and yes, it is insulting to demean what he's done.
@teerack: @xxxddd: You both need to relax. As I said before, if you don't have anything positive or supportive to say, don't bother even posting at all mate. If you believe that getting accepted into College isn't an accomplishment then fine, that's your opinion. Please don't go around trying to discourage others for feeling otherwise.
@deranged_midget:
I don't know if you noticed, but I decided not to respond to his comments. People are entitled to their own opinions.
@jedixman: Was college an easy thing to get through?
Good. Now go party and get kicked out. I order this.
I shall take all advice I am given.
