What event in Comic books had you angry enough to write fan fiction just to ret con the crap for your own soul.
MAD AS HELL!!!! - What Comic Event Pissed You Off The Most
Nothing really. All the really controversial stuff happened before I was into comic books. And its kind of hard to be angry at something that was considered cannon before you even knew it existed, if that makes any sense. As far as current stuff, the only thing I can think of is Superior Spider Man, but I actually like the book a lot.
I think if they killed Nightwing like it was speculated here recently I would freak out.
@redlantern23: They almost did in Infinite Crisis. Seriously.
I'm not really pissed off by events as much as I am fatigued by the extensive amounts that are frequently running through the big two.
When they killed damien
Morrison planned to do that from the start and at least he died fighting and his death had some weight to it.
Not saying you're not allowed to be mad, but Damian's death was one of the better ones in comics.
Not exactly Mad As Hell but Avengers vs X-Men... close enough
So you're more mad as Hel?
EH? EH?
:D

LOL!
@decoyelite: Didnt see that one coming
:D
I was pissed the f*ck off when i heard they ALMOST killed nightwing in infinite crisis, how dare they even get that thought in their heads
I hate when they make hero vs hero arcs just to satisfy blood thirsty fanboys who want to see gladiator games. That's why Marvel Vs DC sucked that and coloring book level art among 100 other reasons.
Sh**that's why Marvel Vs Capcom makes more sense.
Ok, so what happen that read about happening before you started reading that you disagree with?
You're right about the big two looking like Democrats and Repbulicans. Remember the 90's when Wizard had Image comics on the covers? I swear I would rob the Pope for a DVD release of Herogasm, 100 Bullets and Irredeemable. I swear it's like Plutonian's real name is Ralph Nader
Wow weren't they calling Iron Man the George W Bush of comics during that arc? Peter Parker looked French to me. Whatever that meant in 2004...
And lol @decoyelite:you're funny as @hel:
civil war
flashpoint
@bruxae why do so many people like Atrocitus? he's not very likable.
@hanson724: I am glad im not the only one.
@tektheninja: I guess it depends on your personality, if you are an angry person who want retribution he is extremely likeable.
@theblaster: I guess he was, never heard that. Lol
Civil War, it was an uncecessary Marvel event to make Ironman look like a douche, and to make Captain America seem like the ultimate hero, he who cannot do unjustice, perfect soilder durrr
@lykopis: Preach
House of M
One more day
Dark reign (all of it)
Age of Ultron
All star batman and robin
Marvel Now several characters I liked were just removed and have never returned. Worst of all is the Thunderbolts it just seems to be pandering to the fan of big marvel antiheroes at the expense of the former die hard fans of the title and the numerous characters given a second chance to be heroes.
I think Identity Crisis was pretty messed up.
It reminds me of the last page of Killing Joke when Batman laughs with the Joker after what he does to the Gordon's. Speaking of which:
WTF
@tdk_1997: What is wrong with Fear Itself?
@theblaster: I'm not that big on Infinite Crisis myself. Where all the goriness necessary?
Court of Owls.
-_- i think you put that there to stir up something.
anyway mine is Superman: New Krypton
Ultimatum.

Ugh that was one confusing event.
Death of the Family's ending didn't have me "mad as hell," but it definitely had me "meh as hell." It left me as unexcited for the next issue of Batman as Court of Owls excited me for the next issue of Batman. I think it ties Civil War for the "Most Disappointing Ending to So Much Build-Up" Award.
Wow great thread so far guys. So lets add this for the discussion:
What Comic Event (In A Movie)Pissed You Off The Most??
Mines: Spider-Man 2004 Osborn's funeral scene.
Peter to ugly ass Mary Jane: "There's so much to tell."
Ugly ass Mary Jane to Peter: "Yeah. There's so much to tell."
WTF a Peter Parker that can't talk is like a CM Punk that can't talk. Bad enough he lives next door to ugly ass Mary Jane. Where's the build up to "You hit the jackpot. Tiger."
And you call that a jackpot. She's not even a scratch off.
