Howard the Duck!
Look who pops up in GoG end credits *HUGE SPOILER*
This better not impact the rest of the MCU. As in, I realllllllly don't want him appearing in GotG 2, or anything like that.
@daredevildd78: Yeah I been looking for it >.<

why?
@danhimself: ... Because I can't imagine him being a part of it, successfully, and IMHO he'll just be comic relief.

what's wrong with having some comic relief somewhere?
I sincerely doubt that Marvel will do a Howard the Duck movie...but if all this amounts to is a cameo and the potential for future cameos then I'm fine with that
@biteme_fanboy: If you're still looking for it, this link worked for me.

@danhimself: The MCU has enough comic relief as it is. But, I'm fine with cameos.
Eh, hopefully this isn't the only end credit scene. I prefer end credit cameos that tease further films or events not one shot comic relief like in Iron Man 3.
@the_stegman: But they work (see: Shawarma).
@jaken7: Shawarma only worked cause I also saw Thanos. If that was the only scene, I would be pissed, same thing with Thor 2.
@the_stegman: Yes, but we're discussing end credit sequences, not mid credit sequences.
@jaken7: Yeah, and my original post said I would be upset if this end credit scene is the ONLY one we get, aka, no mid credit scene (like in Iron Man 3). I have no problems with this being here, but if this is all we get, I'll be a little whelmed.
@the_stegman: Fair enough, although "whelmed" is grammatically incorrect. :P

Tell that to the Boy Wonder
There better be another one of these if he gets his own thing. :p
@the_stegman: Hah! That's great.
You know who would love this?
@judasnixon:
Best F-ing Movie Cameo Ever!!!
What's GoG?
.....1/10.
Unless you're not being a smartass, then its Guardians of the Galaxy.. left out the T.

It was a serious question, thanks.
What's GoG?
DC villain
The End Credits Scene to Guardians of the Galaxy really Pissed Me Off. I mean I was hoping for something that would lead more in depth with the Infinity Gems and that Big Purple Guy quest after them as a Post Credit Scene... or maybe a Legitimate Marvel Character's cameo appearance in a Post Credit Scene ( Adam Warlock perhaps )... but to have to sit through a 2 Hour Film where you watch a Talking Raccoon... you feel completely cheated to know that the post credits scene includes another talking animal... one that's not even close to being as cool as the Raccoon. That was a bunch of Bullsh!t. Marvel Studios never really wasted a Post Credit Scene... Until Now.
On the Real though, the actual Guardians of the Galaxy film was Fantastic. I just had to let out that about the Post Credits Scene... I kept seeing these threads about a Surprise Character being in the Post Credits Scene to GoTG. Unfortunately, this particular character aint worth the hair on my nut sack.
/Rant
@king_saturn: I feel like the only reason it was included is because Howard was the original Rocket, if you understand my meaning.

No need to waste a 60 second slot on a comedy segment when you could have eluded more on what's really going on in the films background with that "Big Purple Fellow in the Floating Chair" and those "Colorful Stones that have Immense Power" I mean I aint expecting the complete unfolding of everything... but since we know what the film is leading into anyways... Why not give a little more of an impressive teaser ? I don't give a damn about that duck, I'm sorry.

Eh, I liked it. It was stupid, but that was the point.
I was more excited to see Cosmo.
I admit, seeing that Soviet dog made me a little bit sad. What really happened to the first dog sent into space (Laika) would make most people probably feel the same.
I think that scene was to troll the audience. How many people have been sticking around after a movie finished, waiting for the ohmygodIcantbelieveit post credit scene since the fad started? Tonnes. Even for a second scene. That this was just a blip and a focus on Howard the Duck of all characters, made it hilarious to me. The theatre I was in had us all looking at each other like, what the hell? I do think the usher waiting for us to leave so he could clean thought it was a good trolling. The smirk on his face was a good tell.
I love how they had a chance to put literally any B list/C list list fan favorite character from Marvel's gigantic cosmic library and they decided to go with the one character that hasn't been used in a decade and no one cares about in the first place.
According to one of the creators of Howard The Duck he now apparently lives in the Image Universe. Uhh....cool?
