Lockout possibility for the NBA and NFL
Talks/rumors for lockout on the NBA and NFL have been spiraling for almost a year now. If they do indeed happen (which seems to be a pretty big possibility), what will you be watching for sports in that year (MLB views will probably still drop), and the NHL may be gaining more viewers. I watch the NBA and NFL more than most other professional sport, so it'd be a lame year for me and the older players losing a year in their career for it would suck. What are your thoughts on this?
I feel sad for other people in Manila; They'll have to settle for our below-average basketball leagues. :)
Lockout or not, my TV will still be tuned to ESPN on Opening Day as planned.
I am a big NFL fan watch nearly all Saints games and most of playoffs games, I would be gutted if there is a lock out, but I don't think it will happen nobody wins with a lock out. But if it happened I'd watch more college football and maybe try MLB.
I watch a few NBA games, but would not affect me that much as I only seriously watch the playoffs because there are so many regular season games that I find them meaningless.
I'll watch more of my favorite pseudo sport. Pro wrassling!
I used to follow it pretty closely back when it was the hot thing. Now not so much.
"yeah... this shit aint looking all that great right nowIt's pretty much guaranteed now.
"
Nice. At least the Indoor Football League is still going so I can go to Sioux Falls to watch that. Or College football in Brookings. Or the NHL since my folks have Versus. I haven't watched the NBA since David Robinson retired, so that is no big loss to me. Be interesting to see if the NFLPA goes back to being a union whenever this is over since all of their court arguments revolve around the fact that they are not a union.
