Lived without sex so far, my life's been pretty good. Internet on the otherhand has been a part of my entire life, and the way the world is advancing will only become much more influential and necessary. The only meaningful outcome of sex is children, and honestly it won't kill me to miss that experience as MANY others have.

Hell, I'm not even guaranteed to have sex unless I pay for it.The internet however is readily available through a plethora of modern media. Why take a lifelong gamble when I can just access the other option through 5 different devices that I already own?

i choose the internet absolutely, you kidding me? sex is just sex and nothing more...

internet can teach you stuff, can give you a job and get you new opportunities, can make you laugh with tv shows and other things, you can play videogames(most important reason for me), can get you any information about the world and you can buy most things on it, etc. (plus you can "watch" all the sex you want)

so what about sex? it's just to satisfy your senses and share an intimate moment with your partner... so what? there are other ways to achieve the same results(if you know what i mean), and if you really want kids you can always make them with artificial insemination or even adopt them so... internet wins for me!

If you're getting some more or less enough, you might be tempted to answer sex. Because it's fun, but the Internet drives civilization. Unless you've got a decently hot girlfriend...in which case you'd probably still answer sex. Then there's the loophole of virtual sex.

I answer Internet, if only because my line of work demands I spend so much time in front of a computer, that I get sick of those damned machines. Also, sex helps relieve stress.

@dathomiesilversurfer: Please tell me what exactly sex brings to the table that I'm not already aware of. It feels good for 30 minutes or so, big deal. The Internet gives damn near unlimited hours of entertainment and drives my life forward in more ways than one. I'd say you're very short sighted to pick sex over something infinitely more meaningful to our society.

Only people that can't get anyone to have sex would ever choose the internet over sex. It's just something ugly people say.

The followup question I have is will the sex be just as accessible as the internet is, should you choose to give up the net? Or will we all still have to rely on prostitution?

@makhai: I'd assume that sex would be as readily available as one could currently achieve on a case by case basis without the use of the internet. Which would only be advantageous for those in a committed relationship I guess.
