@rogueshadow: Leaving our differences aside, losing or breaking a precious Toy or Collectible Material is indeed a bummer. My Voltron (Go Lion) figure had its Blue Lion (Leg) crushed by my cousin.

Did you get him headless? Or did his head come off? If it is the latter all you have to do is put the head in some hot water, it softens the plastic up which will allow you to pop it back on the ball joint. It is a 30 second job really.

Now I am sad.

How did it snap off? I might be able to give you some tips on how to mend if I know how it has snapped. If it is possible. Just be glad it wasn't one of his arms, similar thing happened when I dropped my Arkham City Bane. Wasn't able to fix it since the joint in the arm had snapped and it no longer had a strong enough bond to keep the arm attached. Granted that figure has some big arms, so it may not apply to smaller figures, also it depends on how the joint was constructed. DCC tend to have some very hard to glue joints.

They aren't the most durable figures, but they look good.

Man, I came in here expecting to read some really long OP about how depressed the user is because of some traumatic event involving a girl or family; something really personal. But this…this is a different kind of hell. One that should never be experienced. I wouldn't wish this kind of pain on my worst enemy. I am so sorry. That really sucks.

I think it is actually depressing, losing one of your collection in which you devoted time and money acquiring and maintaining be lost in a nonchalant way.

I feel for him being a collector myself.

@cf12793: The headless Hawkman has a nice ring to it

#37 Edited by CF12793 (2993 posts) - - Show Bio

@mrdecepticonleader: Unfortunately its that I can't find the head itself. :P I moved a few months back and my action figure collection was taken with me but admittedly poorly packaged up. Fortunately none of the others were damaged except for Hawkman.

@kgb725 I actually agree.

What a second? You guys are all just kids right? You don't actually collect toys as grown men, do you? If so, no offense. It's just I thought that was only in movies and in like fiction...Be yourself I guess.

I am not a kid and I collect toys. You clearly have no idea how big the collecting community is. Go to TFW2005 there are plenty of us on there, go to you tube TheFwoosh OG13....etc there are many toy collectors out there. I assure you toy collectors are not a work of fiction, we are indeed real :p

Never thought I would see a post like this on a comic book website. I mean it is no different to collecting comic books or movies or statues or stamps (more fun than that though), video games etc. And yes there are real people who really collect those things too. Even stamps :P

Ah well....Be yourself I guess.... :)
