So, this is going to be a relativly short text adventure, where you can play in. I will be the game master, and you will be a group of adventurers in my world.
The goal of the game for you guys will be to take down Gno'Dol, the Orc King. You can play as a group of people, or be a lone wolf and take the items for yourself. You can trade with people, and form parties(Will be explained). Basically like Skyrim in text. The campaign should be about 3-4 hours long, but could be shorter or longer depending on what you do.
Starting Classes:
Spellsword
Starting Stats:
- HP:100
- Mana:60
- Stamina:80
Starting Gear:
- Damaged Iron Armor: 20 Defence. 40/100 item HP left
- Damaged Iron Shield: 10 Defence if succesfully blocked. 40/100 item HP left
- Iron Sword: 20 Damage if succesfully hits.
Starting Abilities:
- Block(Level1): When succesfull, block for the amount of defence your shield has. COST: 5 Stamina.
- Swift Attack(Level1): When succesfull, Attack before your opponent does with half/max the amount of damage your sword can do(Randomly generated by me)
COST: 10 Stamina
- Heavy Hit(Level1): When succesfull, attack after your opponent does with the amount of damage your sword can do.
COST: 20 Stamina
- Inner Fury: Rejoice, as you find your inner mage, enchant your sword with a magical spell, doubling it's attack damage for 2 turns. COST: 50 Mana
Passive: Restore 5 mana and 10 stamina each combat turn.
Necromancer
- HP:80
- Mana:100
- Stamina:60
Gear:
- Leather Armor: 10 Defence. Item HP 40/40
- Staff of Nu'Nidaan: Melee damage 5, reduces mana cost of all spells and curses by 50%
- Book of ancestors: Can hold 3 Spells
Spells:
- Summon(Level1): Summon a skeleton to aid you in battle(Skeleton 10/10 HP, Attack damage 15,) COST: 30 Mana(15 with Staff of Nu'Nidaan)
- Curse of Nu'Nidaan(Level1): Target opponent loses 15HP each turn,Chances of opponent missing for the next attack are increased by 50%. COST: 50 Mana(25 With Staff of Nu'Nidaan)
- Bone Curse(Level0): Target opponents armor is ignored with your next 5 attacks. COST: Can be used once for free in every battle.
Passive: Restore 10 mana and 5 HP each combat turn.
Mercenary
Starting Stats:
- HP:90
- Mana:10
- Stamina:120
Gear:
- Fine leather armor: 15 Def 50/50 HP
- Old Lance: 30 Damage
- Iron Sword: 20 Damage
Abilities:
- Passive: Can be hired for unique quests no other classes can get.
- Lance pierce(Level1): Deals the amount of damage your lance does, has 10% chance to negate your opponets next attack. COST: 80 Stamina
- Sword Slash(Level1): Deals the amount of damage your sword does. COST: 30 Stamina
Passive: Restore 15 Stamina each combat turn
Archer
Stats:
- HP: 95
- Mana:50
- Stamina:100
Gear:
- Fine Leather Armor: 15 Def 50/50 HP
- Oak Bow: 25 Damage
- Dagger: 15 Damage
Abilities:
- Passive: Can attack enemies(Bow damage) before combat mode is engaged.
- Cloak and Dagger(Level1): Become invisible and negate your opponents next move, deal the amount of damage your dagger does to your opponent, cannot be blocked, cannot miss. COST: 50 Mana.
- True Shot(Level1): Do the amount of damage your bow does. COST: 10 Stamina
Passive: restore 5 HP, mana and stamina each combat turn.
Mage
Stats:
- 70:HP
- 150:Mana
- 20:Stamina
Starting Gear:
None
Abilities:
- Ice shield(Level1): Create an artificial armor worth 50 Defence. COST: 30 Mana
- Pyroblast(Level1): Drain blood from yourself and create a massive fire storm, Dealing 60 Damage to all enemies. COST: 20 Mana, 20 HP
- An Eye for an Eye(Level0): Deal the same amount of damage your opponent does to you for the next attack. COST: Free, once a duel.
Passive: Restore 10 Mana and 5 HP each combat turn.
RULES and MECHANICS:
-What is that "Item HP"? When your item HP reaches 0, it gets destroyed. You lose 1/10th of the amount of damage of the enemy attack on item HP. Say, your opponent does 10 Damage, you armor will lose 1 HP.
-How many lives do I get? 1. When you're out. You're out.
-Can I kill other players? Sure, you can challenge them to a duel, but they have to accept as well. When you lose a duel, you don't die, but the winner gets to take 1 Item from your inventory. Don't want to duel? You can also trade. But only if you're in the same area.
-Isn't this going to be like...Totally unbalanced? Some classes look a lot better than others... It might be unbalanced, that's why I ask YOU for your opinion before we start this.
-I've never played a text adventure... How does it work? Well, you have to type what you do, and I will make it happen as a game master, each of you get to move turn after turn, if you don't do your turn in 1 day, we will skip you and do the next person. We can't keep waiting.
-How do parties work? Well, you all start of as lone wolves, if you want to join a party you can send an invite, this does NOT count as your move for that turn, you can do your real move after sending the request. If the other player(s) accept, enemies will become tougher, and loot will be more unique, but you will have to decide who will keep the loot. Coins and EXP will be shared evenly.
