Leonard Nimoy Is Dead

Seriously though, Nimoy did die today of pulmonary disease, and that's too bad. He was a good actor who, unlike so many other famous stars, understood and embraced the culture that loved him as the analytical character Spock. More importantly, he was a good man.

Does anybody have some thoughts to share for this nerd icon?

Live Long and Prosper

God blessed him with a whole year. He got sick about a year ago and went below the radar. He was Jewish. I liked Leonard Nimoy as an actor and he has/had a place in my memory coming up to my present. He was just released from the hospital for an incident just last week, I believe, or within the last 2 weeks. He went into the hospital a year ago due to issues with his lungs. He blamed it on smoking.

I had a unexplained injury to my feet this morning... Now i understand why. Repose en paix.

Aw goddamit no, not another gifted creative talent taken too soon. This is so unfair and a huge loss not just to Star Trek fans but artistic and cultural fans in general. RIP Mr Spock, may your legend live long and prosper in our memories.

The original Star Treks were always my favourite movies.

Leonard Nimoy was a terrific actor.

Too bad he died now.

It's not like he didn't live his life in a good way. Damn, he was 83 years old. He could do a lot of cool stuff, and he did.

Leonard Nimoy was one of my favorite actors in his role as Spock on Star Trek in the series and films... a lot of people forget he was Paris the Magician in the Mission Impossible series as well.

Leonard lived a long life that is immortalized in TV history as Spock. He will be missed.

This honestly affected me. Seriously, I punched someone in frustration over this. He will always remembered as an amazing actor and a great person. To me personally, he will always be Galvatron.

One reason why I got into ST to begin with years ago, this series will always be the best space sci fi series to me. Big reason cause of Spock!

I grew up on In search of, and I always thought he had a voice incredibly suited for narrating. I just recently got into Star trek, and he lived and long and good life. RIP Nimoy, live long and prosper
