For it. Only because I read a heart wrenching story of parents using marijuana to save their son. But seriously, if I'm in a shop smelling cannabis on peoples breathe, cannabis fumes in the air, I'm going to get real uncomfortable.
Legalizing Marijuana are your for it or against it
I don't care. It's obviously working out in Colorado. Shut all the crybabies up and just legalize it.
I'm for it. If alcohol is legal then so should marijuana be.
both should be illegal! also joy and girl should be illegal!

No, I like alcohol and would like to be able to drink it.
Your second assessment is also incorrect. Both joy and girl should, in fact, be legal.

fine you bums can have all that but you must tattoo F*CK IT across your forehead. your revolution is over. condolences.
Don't smoke, never will smoke; so I don't really care. And why would I be "with it" for a drug that claims lives?
As a Californian it's a foregone conclusion. But it's not like I'm being prevented from smoking da ganj now lol
I light up every once in a while but I don't do it as often because I get to much anxiety. Yea I'm all for it being Legal. Almost 80 percent of income from Drug cartels is Marijuana. What happens when you take 80% of revenue from a company? The company goes bankrupt.

Right, every cartel and drug runner is just going to shrug it off, and get day jobs working at Target right? What do you think would happen if that huge of a revenue stream suddenly dried up? Would all drug-related violence in Mexico come to a complete stop, or would the cartels start fighting for control of the entire country? The answer is that they would become even more aggressive vying for the last remaining pieces of the market. Policy changes north of the border can only do so much. Plus, who says that Cartels wouldn't find a way to tap into legal revenues? There's a 100 BILLION dollar (yes, that's billion with a B) black market for cigarettes alone just for people looking to avoid taxes, and cigarettes are actually LEGAL.
I'm not against legalization (and fyi, I do smoke on ocassion), but it's not as black and white as everyone makes it out to be.

I feel like alcohol has claimed way more lives than marijuana has. (Consumption and accident wise)

Statistics?
@themetalgearzero: Weed claims lives ?
If it didn't, I think everybody would be sitting around, smoking.

Probably some bias here as I found this by googling Alcohol vs marijuana death statistics but eh it'll do for now lol
be sure to read the top right corner of that page, they also claim the source of their statistics is the U.S Centers for disease control.

Alright then; thanks for the link :)
@themetalgearzero: Not if you just sit there and smoke it and do nothing else

No problem dude :)

Weed mightn't - mightn't - be too lethal, but eventually, I think it'd get to whoever's smoking it and something bad would happen.
Don't Smoke, don't care.
I don't smoke, either; I just don't think it should be criminalized.
Same here.
i don't see a negative in smoking it, even though I do not, personal choice....but it brings out the weirdest people, where I live. All the ...how do i put this..."Smarter" people who do it, keep quiet, act normal, and go about their business, but there are tons of annoying loud stoners that are associated with it. Annoying as hell. I tried to have a convo with a few and they would derail any topic and steer it back to weed, getting stoned, and getting munchies.
@themetalgearzero: It doesn't work that way

I never said it would happen right away but it could (possibly) happen gradually. Hell no crime would not stop in Mexico but crime sure as hell would go down in the US. I also recognize that the cartels also have other sources of revenue but their cash crop is obviously Mary Jane and the United States is their main customer. I also found your post a little patronizing and condescending in some parts. I agree with everything you said, I just wish you were a little more respectful with how you said it.
Could do with or without.
This is before I got into the wonderful world of vapor.
The main benefit of legalizing weed is killing the stupid stoner culture thing where people feel the need to tell everyone they smoke weed. I'd probably consider smoking it if it was legal too.

Snoop dog would also be a great example.
