I'm all for it, but I know it is going to be a bumpy ride till we finally accept it more, and finally forget the whole thing.
Your thoughts on it?

Don't Smoke, don't care.
I don't smoke, either; I just don't think it should be criminalized.
Don't Smoke, don't care.
Who said you have to smoke it? lol! Brownies, THC soda, and many more crazy foods.
Or your a straight edge person? Which I respect.
Against it.
Why? If it gets legalize you aren't force to smoke it. As for peer pressure don't listen to those who think you have to smoke to be "cool." You smoke/eat it if you want to.
Or is it personal reasons?
Throwing people in jail for smoking a joint is about the most idiotic thing society could do. You are locking up, for the most part, normal young people, this leaves them with a criminal record which can destroy their future prospects in life and end up making them turn to crime. If you just let them smoke their Mary Jane in peace they could continue on in life just fine, turning these otherwise regular citizens into criminals is simply doing no good though.
@jedixman: I guess, It does kinda help people with certain health conditions so it can't be that bad.
@ssjdarthplagueis Nah I'm not straight edge, just never saw the point in smoking.
@marshall_long: One thing I don't like about some people that want it decriminalized
is they get their info wrong.
One it doesn't cure anything it aids in suppressing pain, increase appetite for people in chemotherapy, stops nausea for people that have vertigo, believe it or not it haves some benefits as a antipsychotic depending on the persons conditions, works as a sleep aid, and many more. With all that help it haves little to no side effects. Very few that are extremely sensitive to THC that they can't smoke it, but has never died from it.

Yes that's my number one main issue about it. It's very overly strict on the law for smoking it/possessing it. I see very little to no harm in it so just decriminalize it.
@_cain_: In Reno, Nevada there are legal brothels you can go to believe it or not.
I'm for it only because I'm a realist.
I don't agree with it, but it is just logical to regulate it. Yeah, defeatist attitude, I know.
Alcohol is far worse because it makes people violent, but Prohibition failed.
So in a perfect world, it'd be illegal and no one would do it. But this isn't a perfect world.
@mitran: Fair enough. My great Grandfather was an alcoholic and it really did a number on the family. But I realize people can drink responsibly.
I'm all for human rights.
so I absolutely am for it.
if you lock someone up with murderers and rapists that smoke a plant that relaxes you when cigarettes and alcohol are legal(mainly cause of lobbying) you're the criminal.
Cigarettes are disgusting. I'm glad NY banned them from restaurants.
As my chain smoking father once said, if you can't go one meal without smoking, you have a problem.
@mitran: Same here. Love my beer.
Which I would love a nice cold one of these.
I am against "smokers' rights." If you want to smoke, do it outside. It's as obnoxious as if I farted in your face or I squirted you with water.
Knock it off.
@tifalockhart: I can dig this. I do smoke weed and the occasional black n mild. But I ain't gonna force it on people just because I do smoke. Just take my blackass to my car, burn, return to resturant.
Legalize it, it will be legal in the future because more and more people are starting to smoke it, same thing happened when alcohol was illegal. From my point of view, illegal does not equal immoral. I smoke to get stoned.
@black_arrow: Probably only at certain clubs that are already here specifically for people with medical cards which they will probably make a club only for weed too if legalized for recreational use. Other than that it will be treated like alcohol you can't be intoxicated/high in public you must be at home though to tell you the truth it's pretty easy to be high in public and not be caught for some people.
@omgomgwtfwtf: lol true
@chibi_cute: It already is legal for medicinal use.

Not in our country.
