Leg Days vs Back Days which is worst ?
I just started working out. I thought people were just exaggerating about leg day, but nope. It sucks so hard.
Mon Days.
If it' so bad...why do you do it?
Seems kind of foolish to do something you don't look forward to when you don't have to.
@cattlebattle: no one wants to do legs, but if you don't you'll have a huge upper body and tiny legs.
I actually like both. It feels good to work out and know you're getting stronger, and those are the two most important areas to work.
I actually don't have a day for a set group of muscles. I do whatever I want in any combination, as long as I hit every muscle group at least once a week. Sometimes I will even do upper and lower back on different days.
@jayc1324: But who was chest?
@jayc1324: You stated that legs and back were the most important muscles to work. What makes them more important than chest?Everyone has different goals, what's important to you may not be as important to the next guy.
@gymgoer205: for strength that you'd actually use, legs and back are the most important. That's what you mostly use to lift and move stuff with. If you need to lift a box off the floor, you're using your back and legs, not chest. If you want to be strong, you need strong legs and back.
Da fuq you ninjas talkin' bout??
PUMPIN DAT IRON!
@kcjr: @those_eyes: lunges are my least favorite.
Leg day. I hate squats and lunges. When I finish squats, I nearly fall down stairs, and I can barely walk the next day. The pain feels so good, though.
@jayc1324: No, the muscles you would use would depend on the movement you're doing, like you said you use your legs and back to pick something up off the floor, but you'd use your chest and shoulders to put them on a shelf above you. And what's important to you may not be as important to the next person. We all have different goals and the muscles most important depend on both our own personal goals and preferences.
@gymgoer205: yeah everyone has different goals, but legs and back are the most important overall
@ryagan: lol the next day at school when you have to go all the way up the stairs then alll the way down and then all the way up again.
@jayc1324: No they're not. Again, it depends on your goals and preferences. Just because you like working those muscles doesn't mean that they're the most important overall for everyone else.
Soo you guys bulking or cutting ? I'm bulking.
Dear lord man. You really bulking? Im cutting personally (i never bulk). The only time someone should bulk is when they are on the juice. Bulking as a natty isnt worth it in my opinion.
Hate leg days but we all gotta do them. Can't say I hate being sore the next few days though coz I love that feel!
@gymgoer205: This isn't just about me and my preferences. The lifts all the powerlifters and record setters care about are mainly the squat and deadlift. I believe they call the deadlift the king of all exercises.
@midnightdragon18: Bulking all day, I'm naturally lean, I want mass.
Soo you guys bulking or cutting ? I'm bulking.
Dear lord man. You really bulking? Im cutting personally (i never bulk). The only time someone should bulk is when they are on the juice. Bulking as a natty isnt worth it in my opinion.
Get the f*ck out.

Back, hands down....... I'm a runner. I broke three of my rids, and I can't bend over like I use too........ For two years I looked like an old man trying to bend down.
Back day is freaking awesome. Rows, chin ups, pullups, dead lifts, etc.
Leg day on the other hand.....
If it' so bad...why do you do it?
Seems kind of foolish to do something you don't look forward to when you don't have to.
It ani't a good look.
What do you mean "which is worse?". I can't believe I'm the only one flipping out over the question.
@monsterstomp: which day do you loathe the most ?
@midnightdragon18: Oh, legs for sure. But I should probably even that sh*t out lol. Back day is awesome. I just hate the after effects. You can't stretch your back as effectively as you can with your legs.
@jayc1324: Not everyone who works out is a power lifter though. People who train for aesthetics and symmetry such as myself care about training all muscles equally. Do I have preferences? Sure back day is my favorite and leg day is my least favorite. However I still train both along with my chest because they're all equally important to my goal of an aesthetic, symmetrical physique. So no, legs and back are not the most important muscles too work overall. The most important muscles too work depend on your goals and preferences.
@gymgoer205: if you want a big chest then sure chest day is most important for you. But if you want a strong body then legs and back are most important.
