Better musicians (Match the drums of John Bonham, or the guitar bow of Jimmy Page) Better Artists (The composition of the music itself, and they were also one of the pioneers of using effects at concerts) And who can argue with the close to 40 years of widespread popularity, and one of the most memorable songs ever "Stairway to Heaven" Not my particular my favorite but its still great none the less.

Led Zeppelin are the GODS of rock'n'roll. Robert Plants lyrics are 100X better than anything Linkin Park will ever come up with. And Jimmy Pages guitar skills will cause Linkin Parks guitarists head to explode.

Zeppelin was perhaps the best group of their age of Rock music. Filled with four of the best musicians in Rock history. Alongside Sabbath, they literally laid the foundation for everything that would become Linkin Park...
No offence, but they by-far have the better songs. They are still remembered as one of the best after fifty years (dang that's a long time), and John's drum rhythms are perhaps the thickest, deepest backbeat in Rock music.
