Who's had the better career?
Lebron vs Kobe
Kobe takes it. Eventually it all comes down to how many rings you have. I'm by no means a fan of either (I'm actually a Bulls fan), but until Lebron can match that or at least come within 1, Kobe will have the superior legacy. Within 1 and then MVP awards and advanced stats come in, and then Lebron can even out the ring difference.
Kobe. Lebron is arguably the best in the league right now but when comparing entire careers it's definitely Kobe thus far.

In a one on one, both at their heights, LeBron wins. LeBron is a better defender and could hold Kobe to 5-20 shooting. Kobe can't stop LeBron.

One-on-One, both in their primes? Mamba. Far better shooter, better handles, comparable, if not superior one-on-one defender, and the best WTF shooter in the histoy of the game. 'Bron is a freak of nature and could use his physical ability to his advantage, but I don't see it happening for any kind of majority. Kobe 6/10.
Who has had the better career? Kobe. He has just accomplished more than LeBron has overall, at this point but LeBron has a chance to not only surpass Kobe, but MJ as well when it all said and done so the comparison is kinda unfair at this point.
@dccomicsrule2011: They have gone at eachother quite a few times in games and LeBron has generally had his way much more with Kobe than vice versa. I'm not just talking w's/l's either. I am talking when they go against each other on the court. LeBron is just too strong for Kobe 1 on 1 and he can bother Kobe quite a bit with his length and size. LeBron beats Kobe 1 on 1 7-8/10. LeBron can also just shoot over Kobe all day long.

Not really. Stats show that Kobe does better when he's guarded by LeBron than vise-versa. At least when Kobe and LeBron played when both were closes in their primes.

Albeit, this was back in 2010 and below, but anything afterwards is Kobe years past his prime, which was probably 05-06.
@dccomicsrule2011: ya, that's pretty weak in terms of proving anything. a. its from 2010 b. That would include games when LeBron was 19,20,21 and c. the total plays it's combining is like 28 for Kobe and 20 for LeBron. If I had to wager money on a game between them in their primes I'd go with LeBron. More athletic, bigger and a bettter finisher. Kobe would get hot and win some games but LeBron wins more often imo.
