Joey bada$$ newest album is overrated

In no way am I saying it is bad or not good. It is just an overrated album. I did not listen to it when it first came out so I heard a lot of hype, and I ended up believing it. I finally had the time to sit down and give it a listen.....did not deliver. I assumed I just needed to give it another try, maybe I will like it better the next listen.........still did not live up to the huge amount of hype.

Also nobody give me flack for not listening sooner. I did not have time, been busy with school. I do not start an album/mix tape unless I have time to listen to it all in one sitting.

What huge amount of hype ? People were really only excited for Kendrick then Earl's album I never heard anyone bringing up Joey

Theneedledrop gave it a good 8/10 though.

@laflux: That guy acts like he is so knowledgeable but makes childish trivial mistakes all the time. He had no idea what the meaning of the song Bad religion(frank ocean) meant when that is soooo obvious, he has some vendetta against Donald Glover and is overall just a dumb hipster.

The people I have seen review the album and some people I know. Comments about how good the album were f*cked up my mindset when giving it a listen. Did not live up to my perception of what it was.

Gonna have to disagree, mainly because nobody I know has hyped it up all that much. Everybody I know still gassin up Drake's latest project and TPAB (For the record I liked TPAB)
