Eh my only problem is I wish he was a bit older and had a stronger attitude since he is standing up to a god among humans but who knows. It doesn't necessarily ruin the film for me tho
Unrelated to the topic, but would it be against the rules for us to make a topic specifically for b****ing about the Batman/Superman movie? Not actual discussion, just something for people to vent their wrath without cluttering up other threads?
Eisenberg has played cold, manipulative geniuses before with great success. I'm not saying this was the best choice, I'm just saying it isn't a horrible one IMO.

He doesn't come across as powerful, commanding and evil. He comes across as nerdy, annoying and he talks too fast.
@comicdude23: Just remember Heath Ledger in "The Dark Knight". The guy wasn't known for playing that type of role, people thought he was too pretty-boy and was not going to be psychotic enough.
@cf12793: well as long as eisenberg can get the voice down, he'll do alright.
I have a hunch that he's not going to be in the movie for that long. From what I've read at least, his role is going to be more "pulling the strings" than just full on confronting Superman. But I still wanted Bryan Cranston :P
I can dig it. I just wish Eisenberg look older....I know he and Cavil are close to the same age, but Eisenberg has a younger looking face. I'm confident he can play the role well, i'm just unsure if he can really sell it. When I told a few of my friends the reactions I got were among the lines of 'Facebook guy, really??' or 'Wait....that zombieland kid??!'. Like they really thought he was in his early 20's lol. But, like I said above, i'm confident he can pull off this role. Once you get past the shock of all these casting decisions, they're not all that bad. I actually appreciate that DC is going against the grain for these characters - older batman, young lex luthor, and a more exotic looking wonder woman. I likes it.
