JediXMan on: What Next?

I am quickly running out of video games to review, specifically Star Wars games. Yeah, I have other games besides the ones I reviewed (and I intend on reviewing a couple more), but many won't be interest in seeing me review those or I myself just don't want to review them.

So what say you? What next? Should I stick with video games, do movies next, comic books?

Also, yeah, Star Wars will remain a focal point, because I don't think many people care about my opinion on anything else (you can speak up... now).

Comic books are a weekly thing so you would never run out of material, but if weekly seems a tad to much movies wouldn't be bad alot cheaper then buying new games just to review lol

Hell no.

I never buy anything to review; I just review things that I happen to buy or have bought. So it's a matter of talking about stuff I like. Lord knows I have a library of Star Wars comics and GNs to talk about, so that might not be bad.

The Rogue Squadron series. Its was my favorite flight simulator game as a kid and they don't make any of these anymore T__T. Oh JediXMan what are your thoughts in Star Wars Kinect?

And since you are a Star Wars fan, you should definitely do reviews on the issues that are out now. Some look really cool.

JediX: You could review SW novels, similar to what I have been doing on the Ledger. Though that prospect does beg the question: Would anyone on CV actually read or care about reviews for SW novels?

I would as well, but that goes without saying. There might be a few others who are interested though, like Andferne and Steelhound. It could be worth the time provided enough users pay attention to the reviews.

If I did comics, I'd certainly review Dawn of the Jedi.

See, that's the thing. I don't know how many would be interested. I should review Dark Forces, though.... I might do that anyway.

Haven't played it. I looked at the gameplay once and, for some reason, it just didn't appeal to me.

I don't have a Kinect. But I wouldn't mind trying it if I knew someone who had it. From what I've seen, however, it's horrible. I had low expectations from the first game footage.

I second this, I would love reviews about Star Wars novels new and old alike.

Honestly JXM, what type of games do you own/like that you would be willing to review? I can name plenty.

EDIT: I wouldn't mind seeing reviews of the Star Wars films either.

Do a review of the movie Brazil starring Jonathan Pryce.

Off the top of my head, here are some games:

MAG

The Uncharted series

Warhawk (and the new "sequel," StarHawk)

Sins of a Solar Empire (regular, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy - though I haven't played Diplomacy yet)

Civilization IV, Civ: Colonization, and V.

Arkham Asylum / Arkham City

Mirror's Edge (which I will be reviewing soon, regardless)

I know I am forgetting a lot, though. And I'm only mentioning PC and PS3.

Retro reviews of the Resistance franchise, Folklore, Heavenly Sword, DC Universe Online, Borderlands, Burnout Paradise, etc.

Wanted to update everyone on this:

I will be doing a combination of the different works. I intend to do movies, games, comics, and perhaps novels if I'm in the mood for it.

Also, yes, that means I will eventually review the Star Wars movies.

Any ideas for more recent stuff? I was considering reviewing some Neil Gaiman novels I've read recently, or possibly my all time favorite novel (which will remain a secret... though some people might know what it is. Hint: it is not a Star Wars novel)

Have you reviewed Plagueis yet? I've seen you post that it's one of your favorites, which might make writing it that much easier and fun. The earlier Star Wars movies is a cool idea as DM suggested, which you have said you'd review. I need to go check out your blog.

I rather doubt I'll review that, honestly. I'm not a real Transformers fan. The game looks interesting, I admit, but I'm not really in a rush to play it. But if a friend of mine plays it and I somehow get a taste, perhaps I'll give some commentary.

I jus finished it yesterday. So freaking good, and when I finished I honestly thought: "What would JXM say of this?"

Maybe I'll look into it. If I had Gamefly I'd give it a shot - but sadly, I don't. Got Netflix, though (go Netflix!)
