Don't you like life although it can get pretty bad at times?
@FadeToBlackBolt said:There is no meaning of life. It is, as I said, a complete waste of time.Nope, life sucks. Complete waste of time.Interesting, you said exactly what I thought you would say...So, you haven't found the meaning of your life, have you?
I'm a Christian Existentialist moreso than a Nihilist, but that doesn't change the fact that making a purpose for one's self is still self-deceiving since humans have become so worthless than continuing to perpetuate this society and species is borderline evil.
Life is something whatever you want it to be. Sooner or later, you'll die and that is true for all organism in Earth. No matter what's next is something we can't learn only if we ever die. Life is something you'll experience and possibly never again. Life is great, Life is hard, Life is dark, Life is light, Life is powerful, Life can make you weak. But in my opinion, Life is colorful. You never know what comes next or who will you meet. Life is great in the sense that you can possibly be any person. You can be that cool kid, that geek, that rock star, that actor, that president, that scientist who defined the law of relativity, the creator of Comic Vine etc. You might as well go to the dark side, be a thief, criminal, burglar, or be someone who redeemed himself/herself from all the wreck he/she did to himself/herself. I can't push this ideology to other people but, I can help them see what I think, and maybe think the same too. And to answer the question of the Topic Creator: Yes, Life is great.
That is all.
life really is great
I never understand why people can't or just don't enjoy every minue of every day
no matter where I am or what I'm doing- I'm having fun
and usually, there's a smile on my face
life's too short to waste a moment of it being unhappy for no good reason
Most of us on here are young adults, so think of it like this. You don't want to dwell so much on the negative aspects of life and grow into a lonely old man who wonders what could've been? Have some self confidence in yourself, smile a bit more than you usually do, leave the cave to go out and find a lady friend :P To most people, I'd be considered a spontaneous, upbeat fellow but what I don't share with even my closest friends is the fact that I suffer from a rare condition that leaves me both physically and mentally exhausted. Taking meds is a pain and the side effects aren't exactly pleasurable. At some point it dawned on me that hey, you only live once so why not make mine a good one.. I could sit around at home and brood all day but where would that get me? Not to mention things are so much more incredibly boring that way. So I take the good with the bad and do me. Who cares what anyone else thinks as long I carry myself like a leader in my own mind and challenge the day. Understand knowledge of self. If you can learn that, I guarantee you'll find your meaning. Sometimes all you need is a good friend :)

Our proud and hardworking parents gave us life. It's awesome!
he doesn't believe in God, therefore he's instead crediting his existence to his parents...or at least that's what I'm getting from it
I think I know what you are like. I forgot the name of that religion or belief. But, I understand your opinions. Everybody has one.
I believe in him
but he didn't create me
my parents did
they get the credit
god really had very little to do with it
