Is it safe to buy comics from ebay?

Is it safe to buy comics from ebay? I'm afraid someone would just send me cartons of the first page of the comics instead of the comic itself. If it's safe to buy comics from ebay, then please let me know.

Nothing is 100% safe buying from Ebay.

But it's generally pretty safe, though I would buy my comics at an actual comicbook website/shop though.

If you buy from ebay you will get a badly written Creepypasta curse thing.

I do it a lot. Just be careful, check the person's feedback and if you can, buy from people with eBay stores as opposed to people just selling the odd random issue.

Most of Ebay is legit. Of course there are some scum bags, but most are genuine. Just be cautious.

I was just asking because multiple times I have read that (in Facebook) people have been scammed. There was this one dude that bought an Xbox One poster for 600 pounds, he thought it was a real Xbox.

Can you list me some comicbook websites? I've been trying to see some myself earlier, but all I found was collected editions, but not the full series.

@bumpyboo: I just checked the feedback with the user I wanted to buy from, and all people said was that it was great, and that it came in good condition. That was a great tip.

@transformers1024: I think I would recommend Amazon more. Though eBay is alright add long add you can trust that the pages are all intact (ex: images show it being fully intact).

Just check their feedback percentage like Bumpy said, and the actual feedback (sometimes people have less than perfect percentages, but the things people are complaining about are not within their control ie the shipment being late because the post office messed up).

There should be a description of the item (especially if it's a comic) listing it's condition or it's CGC grade. If you have any questions, it's not that hard to contact a seller. And since they want your business and you to be satisfied, they should be quick to answer any questions that you may have. A lot of them also do combined shipping if you buy more than one thing.

If a worst case scenario happens, you can always file a case against them through ebay and get a refund.

@mercy_: Some of the legitimate ebayers have refunds allowed in their descriptions. Bumpy and other people really helped me out, and I really appreciate all of these guys helping me out.
