Is it "Couldn't Care Less" or "Could Care Less"? Discuss

they both make sense, they just have different meaning.

Grammatically, it's "I couldn't care less." It means, I could not care any less than I do. Saying "I could care less", means that you care at least a little bit, seeing as it would be possible for you to care less than you currently do. The latter might not be seen as necessarily wrong, as it is often used sarcastically.

Depends on what you want to say. Is there a possibility that said whatever could be of lesser importance? If yes then you could care less(it could be of lesser importance). If there is no way said whatever could be of any lesser importance or interest to you, then you could not care less (it cannot be of lesser concern to you).

This is the response more widely used today, "could care less" is simply out of date.

People recognize both to mean the exact same thing, so it doesn't really matter. I use "couldn't" more often, though.
