By sheer numbers or by some ratio, per head, percentage and so on? Most people don't even know how many nations there are, let alone know well about each to an equal degree to give preferences (I raise my hand, I don't know every nation that well) and I know a lot of people who dislike America for its perceived ignorance and intolerance, but foolish is he who thinks that ignorance and intolerance are exclusive to any one grouping. Yet by the same token, on this very site I have had some Americans refer to Canada, France, Japan, Australia and the 'country' of South America as the enemy and supporters of terrorism. I am also lucky enough to know a number of people around the world now, people in Australia, France, England, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Canada, Portugal and America, None of them hate America, then again, most of them don't hate any country. We do make a little bit of fun of certain Americans and some other seemingly culturally traits (but we do that with all countries as a part of just discussing what is going on in the world.) Also a lot of criticism I have seen towards most countries tends to come from its own people. Most people i know who have been critical of America, are Americans. I can honestly say the opposite thoigh? Peoples praise? I usually see more Americans being more patriotic (out of the countries i mentioned), but thats okay, I guess. I mean I type in patriotic and patriotism into Google and its all American themed. I just noticed one image, that takes a well known British Model and puts her in front of an American flag lol
Myself? Eh, I like other countries about as much as I like my own. (quite a few I like and admire more) For lots of reasons, and none of my reason have to do with where I was born or live) I also tend to have friends internationally that have the same ideas as well. Plus I mean, countries are large places? Filled with you know, people? I like my preferences to actually be about things a bit more specific (and thus commonly shared among many countries rather than one, or none)
