TEHRAN,Iran -- Dozens of hard-line Iranian students have stormed the British Embassy in Tehran, bringing down the British flag and throwing documents from windows.

The students clashed with anti-riot police and chanted "the Embassy of Britain should be taken over" and "death to England."

Tuesday's incident comes two days after Iranian parliament approved a bill that reduces diplomatic relations with Britain following London's support of recently upgraded U.S. sanctions on Tehran

My sources have informed me that it was the "Occupy Tehran movement", they told me on condition of anonymity that the college tuition rates recently went up and they want England to pay for there education. Another protestor, who also did not want to be named said "my rent and untility bills are so high, I can't afford the new 60' flat screen I wan't, England should pay for that because they are rich".

I hope the local authorities and peaceful protestors come to an agreement soon before something bad happens.

They are being much harsher on Iran by placing their own economic sanction of not tossing money to the Iranian Central Bank. This who embassy attack and hostage taking was completely under the support to the government to boot.

The Iranian government is big on crushing any sort of protesting and gathering of folks with the heel of their boot. And if I recall they even had some of the folks that usually do the protester crushing partaking in this attack on the embassy.

why's my comment getting so many replies? have you heard the current state in iran, Israel threatening to blow up their nuclear sites soon and Iran saying it will go to all out war with Israel AND America if that were to ever happen as well as attack Nato bases. So yeah, its all connected...Don't forget Pakistan, China and Russia are also all Iranian allies.
